I am sorry but this thought is disturbing me!
Even after being hit on the head and losing consciousness, Rudra chased after Paro as he firmly believed that Thakur will kill her. He was desperate to save her...the Bewakoof ladki.
Completely understanding that he was shaken by the call and his father was critical...BUT... He turned back leaving Paro to die !!!!??
I am not being able to shake this thought.

In the Army (Same goes for Border Security Forces)... You are trained to save civilian life. You are taught that duty is above everything personal including family... Coming from an Army family myself, I am unable to digest that he turned back from mid-way for absolutely valid personal reasons (but still personal reasons) leaving the girl to die. He kept pleading to her to come to his side as the Thakur will surely kill her even in his half-conscious state... n he simply forgot that and turned back !!!

I am not being able to even reach the illogical misunderstanding and I guess it will be cleared sometime in the future... and I read some posts that Rudra's reaction is shown against his character but I am unable to digest a BSD officer's character who can turn back leaving someone to die...and this officer was so sure she will...

Edit : oh well, after being in shock and ranting for about 2hrs, guess I should let go. Really hope someday our movies and TV shows begin showing Armed forces in its glory, the strong sense of duty and code of ethics the way it is. These creative liberties are watched by millions of people and many believe what they see.

Having grown up surrounded by Army officials, this was difficult to see. But then which Defense forces officer forces marriage rituals on a witness to get her to confess either !!

Hope they had not shown the character to be part of Armed forces as just a human reaction to the phone call, turning back was a natural choice. Unfortunately, Defense forces does not give you that choice and the most natural thing was to try and save the civilian... If not himself then through someone else.

Anyways, guess I should let go !

Totally agree! I was very surprised too.. On one hand they showed him going crazy trying to stop her.. And then he just turns back.. Without caring about what happens to her.. Agree that he was under a personal situation.. But he could've atleast got Aman or someone else to try and rescue her and save her..

I guess the CV's were so focused on getting to the 2nd illogical misunderstanding that they just rushed through this. But how can an officer leave someone to die and rush to see a family member in the hospital? This is just completely out of character for the show itself... Not just Rudra...
