Regarding movies promotion

I just have one doubt.TMKOC is the only show where all movies promotions,whether big or small happen.All the actors,whether big or small have entered the show to promote their movie.Shahrukh khan,Salman khan,Akshay kumar,Hrithik roshan,Priyanka chopra,Sonakshi sinha,Ajay devgan,etc.,etc have come into this show and promoted their movies.

TMKOC has huge fan base, garners quite a good rating!

I think Asit Modi does not pay anything to stars or movie production house because its the marketing strategy of the movie makers to promote their movies to the audience.

its the production house of the film that is suppose to arrange for everything. This is the promotion strategy. I think Asit modi has a profit here. As for why, tarak mehta ka oolta chasma.. simple answer .. huge fan base. other shows are either not popular or they have a serious track where most of the film promotion is not possible. They still do like salman khan in DABH or Vidya balan in BALH depending on the story.As for TMKOC, they will deliberately insert a track to make it look real and frustrate the viewers😆

I don't think anyone pays here. It is mutually beneficial. The movies get free promotions on Tv and the chanels and PH hope to get more audience by bringing in movie stars.

But I am not so sure about this.

I think it alsp depends on star's popularity. Some movies get very little air time whereas some get a full episode

we get that but still someone has to pay for all the arrangements na ? so its the production house of the film who has to do it because they altogether have a separate budget for film promotion. mutually beneficial ,Well I take that not because they want more audience to the show because as I see it people prefer to skip those episodes. I think maintaining contacts is the key word in the media world. The more, the merrier.

What is the use of showing movie promotion on tv serials ? Has anyone been really motivated to watch a movie just because it was promoted on their favourite serial ?

Have any of you watched a movie in theatre because of movie promtion on serial ?
