How is it that Kamla brought 'raghav's mom'

Home in chawl! If it was a secret for so many years! How come she's there now! And Kamla doesn't seem concerned or frightened knowing that raghav will be coming! Wouldn't be something for raghav to see his "mom"!i put mom in inverted commas because I'm not sure it's his mom! Or does he know that she is alive and living there! This woman remembers and forgets! Isn't that a sign of Alzheimer's?! I'm confused about this!

kalpi was 1 when she was hurt by Rags mom harkat, how can Rags be 1 that time too? He would be around 7-8yrs when his mom went AWOL, 20 yrs ago as per kamala
