The people that were fighting to get him back are also not happy with his new character sketch as a mentally challenged person, they wanted him smart, suave and arrogant business man/lawyer/producer, not the way AS is bringing him. You see AS hasn't please anyone by doing this, rather he should have stuck with a good thing, and realised the TRP can't go up having VD or Gunjan there as the lead, because they have the family mytheology show on Star Plus Mahabharat as well as the cricket on in a cricket mad country, just stuck with the nice story they had, it's the story that sells a show not what he is doing now.
