They reached the luxurious cafe and the waiter directed them to the table that was reserved for them. At one side of the table was a glass wall along which water flowed from the opposite side. It was not too secluded nor too obvious. Madhu looked around.
" You have a good taste... " She said as she looked around.
" Thanks..." He smiled at her.
" So RK... What are we going to talk...? " she asked enquiring.
" ammm... I didnt know I had to get an outline done.. " he said playfully which made Madhu laugh.
" You are getting a girl out on a coffee.. You should have an outline." She raised an eyebrow at him.
"Oops... My bad! " he said raising his hand in front.
" ammm... So... when did you enter the industry... "
" Well I am an architect by profession... "
" ARCHITECT... wow... Thats cool..." Madhu says getting impressed. " Then how did you enter the world of dreams?"
" Yeah it is a world of dreams... well... During my course we used to design a number of things and once when in a national architect's meet.. there was this kind of a fashion show... for those who all could design clothes. One of my friend took part and I modelled for him. There a person spotted me and then through some strange turn of events I ended up at the Kapoors... he offered me this movie... with a big shit heroine... but then... my heroine..!. she was to reject me outright... but then she couldnt resist my charm... " he grinned cheekily at the end.
Madhubala who uptil now was listening curiously was suddenly distracted by this and laughed. " Well RK... it was your talents that saved you today..." She said approvingly.
" Ahhaaa Should I take it as a compliment from the beautiful lady... "
" Yeah you may..." she said waving her hand at him arrogantly.
" Thanks a lot... Well... I cant even ask you how you entered the films... " he grinned.
Madhu's lips broke into a big smile. " That was a life changing day of my life I must tell you.." she said thoughtfully raising an eyebrow, still smiling widely.
RK burst into laughter. " Life changing??... your life started with it..." he said as he controlled himself. " So.. how does it feel to be Madhubala...?" he asked curiously.
" You sound like one of those press reporters..." She said backing off and looking at him cheekily.
Rishabh laughed. " No seriously... You know being born on the sets.. Named after Madhubala... Growing up in the middle of this 'WORLD OF DREAMS'"
" Hmmm... It does sound like a fairy tail right?" Madhu said getting excited as if she too realised it for the first time.
" Well... how to explain... its wonderful and strange... Having so much that I have got since birth... It sometimes feel like a blessing and sometime like a burden. Burden of responsibilities... I dont know a life out of this world. Its only through my characters that I live a normal life.. But I love this... Madhubala then and Madhubala now... " She said with sparkling eyes.
The rest of the evening went smoothly as they had their snacks and coffee. RK came to know a lot about her and felt that she was a great person at heart. Though a bit pompous at times but otherwise she was a really beautiful person. Madhu also felt comfortable with him. She didnt know why she was like this with him. Othwrwise she doesnt open up to anyone, in fact she hasnt come with anybody on a date.
After some time They stood up and headed towards the car. By the time they drove back to her house they had been quite of friends.
" So will see you tomorrow ..."
" Yeah... Amm RK... It would be great of none of the press gets to know of it... Not that its something wrong or anything... but you know they build a whole lot of castles in the air and the best part for them is their castles dont even fall... " she rolled her eyes in disbelief.
Rishabh laughed. " Dont worry.. Zipped " he gestured zipping his lips.
" Thanks a lot..."

The night was sleepless for both of them. For Madhu it was a strange feeling of frustration and excitement mixed together. Excited because she had gone for an informal meet with RK.. she hadnt been much into these kind of dates. And frustration because she had let a newbie too much liberty. But she couldn't seem to control herself.
She felt it hilarious that just the start of the day she was cursing this Rishabh Kundra and by the end of it she is waiting for next day to meet her RK again. HER RK!!! What the hell... How does he become her RK... and why. She frowned and scolded herself for the thought and decided she needed to control the loose horses of her thoughts.
Rishabh on the other hand had a sleepless night because he had a wonderfull day. Two shots in the first day and that too quite good. His future seemed quite bright from where he stood. Then he remembered Madhubala telling him that he is gonna be a star soon. And he was thrilled thinking of it. He remembered how he had grabbed the offer at that time only hearing Madhubala would be his heroine. But later as the thought sunk in being the star himself became his priority.

The next day Madhu reached the sets to find RK already working on his lines. Devoted.. She thought to herself. She entered her vanity with Neha following her.
"I did see him today mam... He is good looking indeed." Neha said with an amazed expression.
" Huh who? "she said confused.
" The new guy... Rishabh Kundra "
Madhu lips broke into a smile. " Told ya... and u know he is an unusual combination of looks + skills + hard work" she said amazed as she sat on her chair.
Neha giggled hearing that.
"Okay.. Enough of your drool talks... Get make up dada soon.." she said getting back to her work.
Neha went away which gave Madhu some time to think. " Am I being too fascinated about him... Madhubala Malik..! Fascinated about a guy.. Huh... I dont fall for any Tom Dick or Harry.. " she dismissed her own suspicion and waited for the make up man to come.
She decided that she wont let this new dude enter anywhere close to her mind. She knew she had carrier to concentrate on.. and what was he... Just a new comer... who knows he would be in and out of the industry wih this one movie while Madhubala is a name to stay. Her life is this which she loves.
The day went smoothly. And Madhu quiet successfully ignored facing RK. She was stepping in her car when she saw RK coming from other side. She stopped for the sake of courtesy.
" So... Quite a hectic day... we couldnt even meet" he said regretting.
" Yeah... its a pity for you.. " she said arrogantly.
RK smiled. " Of course.. unless you missed me" He said as he put on his sexy smirk.
" Haa... In your dreams Mr. Kundra.. " She said waving it off.
RK laughed hearing her... "well... Miss Madhubala I must tell you my dreams get fulfilled quite a lot..." he said winking at her.
Madhu felt a blush creep in but controlled herself. "Wish you luck for that" She said confidentally.
[COLOR=lime green] "That added the extra charm..." He said smiling naughtily.
Madhu broke into a smile..
"I hope we get to see each other more tomorrow..."
Madhu smiled again as she thought any of her back fire wont help right now as RK wasnt ready to loose.
And he wished her night. They both parted away.
As RK lay on his bed, he thought about his day. It was brilliant day but he hadnt met Madhubala. He just saw her once or twice during the day working. He had this urge to be around her. He wondered does he think of her as someone else like some special. But then he hasnt decided to get into any cupid equations for now. And he hasnt even proved himself yet while Madhubala is a name in the industry. So there shouldnt be any reason for him to think of her anymore than his co star and his senior. He remembered going for coffee with her. She is a great person but he has to focus on his carrier. And whats new if he wants to be around her, it has been like that since years. The only difference was that at that time he would just see her in movies or magazine covers or page 3 articles. He brushed away the thought and went to sleep.
