ZaYa have mesmerising chemistry. And they were breathtaking today.
But when I looked at it overall...I confess I felt the same. Yes...people may say its attraction, not love but still. I feel it a little hurried. What had excited me A LOT was how Zain was an easy going guy in general, & yet had a potent intensity in him, which was revealed only at certain moments...like the Waleema. I had the anticipation of seeing how this "Beintehaa" nafrat would change to love. Because they are really two sides of the same coin & we can expect the same intensity for both in a person. I was honestly more excited to see Zain's transformation because while Aliya is an open character, Zain has all these intense shades to him.
I didn't say anything about the kit kit because like I said...the beauty of Zain's extremities lay in the fact that they were hidden most of the time & then burst out. But now...I am confused. Has he forgone all THAT amount of hatred just because she helped him with this Don business 😳. Okay...it would make sense that he starts to respect her...but kind of accepting the nikaah & giving up his attempts to throw her out isn't sitting well with me. Zain hadn't been doing baccho wali cribbing on Walimah. He truly had pure, unadulterated hatred against Aliya. That it should get washed down so easy & so soon is an inconsistency in my eye 😳
I fear that Colors may be going for its age old tactics of rushing the story to the love track for TRPs -_______- Somewhere I had kept myself prepared dot it but if the coming days reveal the same, it will still be dissapointing. There is no doubt that a lot of layers to the story would go waste.
I will continue watching however with lower expectations. So that if I get dissapointed in terms of the passionate, layered love story that I had been waiting for due to Channel tactics, I can still enjoy the ZaYa chemistry.

His sudden outburst of possesiveness and him changing his decision to kick her out of the house makes it look like he just wanted a wife who cared for his family. It's also like saying that he didn't like her only because he thought she doesn't love his family and now that she has proven that she is a good , helpful girl , he approves of her. Whatever happened to the biggest grudge he has against her of getting him tied down although hes young and unprepared for marriage ?
It's like saying Zain is immature and randomly decided to show up drunk at his own Valima and was just waiting for Aaliya to shower her love on his brother to be able to accept her as his wife. I expected respect and appreciation for Aaliya as you said, but not this " you're mine, and you're not going anywhere" sort of change in him. BINGO!! It excited me a LOT too that he had all these shades to him..he respected his Phupps and family , but he had his own ideologies and life experiences which differed greatly from theirs. Seeing a headstrong man like that transform into a lover from a semi- jerk was what got me hooked.
Yup, it feels like the channel wanted to give the audience memorable romantic Holi scenes so all this happened . I keep myself prepared for these things when I watch a desi show, but once I start loving the couple my expectations rise immediately and I start to think, THIS will be an example for the TV world 😆 But Yeah, lowered expectations now because I can see where the story is going and even though I don't like where it's headed, I like the pairing of HarshIka too !
