Kapoor ji came to her. " So how is my new boy"
" Yup.. He is good... " She nodded her head in approval.
She started to move back to her vanity when she heard footsteps running behind her. She turned to see who it was and found Rishabh coming behind.
" Sorry.. But May I have your few minutes"
"Yes say... " Madhu said looking to other side, back in her full on attitude mode.
" So how was it..? " he asked excitedly.
" yeah it was okay... you will do a decent job..." She said approvingly.
Rishabh smiled as he had seen her lost in his act, he knew what effect he had made. " well a compliment coming from you is indeed a treasure mam... "
Madhu smiled at him, this time genuinely.
" Well.. Its an honour for me to be working with you..."
" ahh... It should be Mr... aaammm " She acted as if she forgot his name, though he was the biggest thing flashing in her head at that time. Maybe it was her insecurity from herself that made her behave like this.
" Rishabh Kundra " he quickly reminded her
" ohh thats too long... We'd call you RK from now"
" Wow... That sounds like a star already " Rishabh said amazed.
" You are going to be one soon " she said.
" Really?? You think so " he says getting excited.
" Of course.. and apart from that.. Your first film with Kapoors and Madhubala... you would be an overnight star baby"
Rishabh smiled at her but he was disappointed as he had thought that it was for his acting that she said that. Madhu saw his disappointment in his eyes.
" Dont worry RK... you did act great... " she assured him raising her eye brows and turned to head back to her vanity.
It indeed felt great to RK to hear it from her. He turned back excited.

The next scene had to be a romantic scene between the hero and heroine. It was normal and any day's work for Madhubala but RK was both excited and nervous about it. He hadnt thought that he would be doing a romantic scene in this big banner film and that too with none other than Madhubala. Who was a prodigy of this film industry. Her birth on the sets during a shoot had made her a born star.
He was standing on the sets and was reading the script. He looked around to see people running here and there for the preparations. He knew his character and his script very well. He had even given a shot just some time back. And it was a one take excellent shot. He was proud of himself. Just then he saw Madhubala coming inside. She was looking gorgeous in the red saree she wore. But at the same time she had an attitude of her own. With goggles on and script in one hand. She came to sit at the other end. She read the script and she was way too confident of it.
The director called them as the shot got ready. Madhubala came to stand infront and gave him a cordial smile. RK was happy that she was not as upset with him as she was in the morning.
The director explained them the scene and they began with the shot. It was good at the start but soon a strange distraction took over RK. He had seen Madhubala on screen a number of times, drooled over her, even dreamt of her. But now doing a romantic scene with her. He felt nervous. He could no longer concentrate. The director asked to redo the shot. Once, twice, thrice... But it was not going proper. RK was irritated and embarrassed.
It had to be the 5th take that was to begin. Madhu soon understood what was going on.
" RK..."
" yeah " he looked at her instantly somehow afraid that she might insult him.
" Just relax... Its very easy for you... You did a way too difficult scene an hour ago..." She assured her.
" Thanks but I dont know what took over me..." he made an excuse not wanting to tell her that its because of her big beautiful eyes that he is loosing his concentration.
" Arjun... You are Arjun for now... and standing in front of you is your Anjali. Arjun wants to confess his feelings for Anjali. You cant let him down. If Arjun is not able to tell his feelings for Anjali, she would go away. Arjun.. you have to stop your Anjali" Madhubala said it so convincingly that RK got lost in her and their characters.
She gestured to the director and he started the shot.
This time the shot went great. Everybody clapped and the director was impressed.
" You did a great job... " Madhubala smiled at him appreciating.
" All because of you mam..."
" ohh... you can take me to coffee sometime to thank..."
" That would be entirely my pleasure... Today?" He raised an eyebrow enquiringly.
" Ask Neha if I have an appointment left..." She said arrogantly as she walked past him. But soon turned back and said.. " Pick me up at 6... " She said and walked away. RK was thrilled. He hadnt expected going on a coffee with Madhubala.
RK entered his vanity and sat on the couch relaxing after the hectic day. " Bittuji... Get me a coffee... Right Now...!"
Bittuji gave him coffee. " This day was too hectic"
"But you were brilliant Chief."
" Bittuji... Its your chief... Brilliance can stray no far from him.. " He said smiling proudly.
"Even Madhubala Madam was dumbstruck at your performance" Bittuji was grinning widely.
" Its my charm... and yes Bittuji.. 6 today I have a meeting so dont get any other plans for me.."
"Meeting Chief? But..." he was confused as all of RK's meetings were settled by Bittuji so this meeting without him even knowing of it..
" I am not a child Bittuji that I need to tell you everything..."
"Yes Chief not at all... But..."
"Do you know bittuji, sentences CAN end without a But." He said raising his eyebrow. But the expression on Bittuji's face didnt seem to die off.
"Well before your confused eyes ruin my coffee... I am going for a coffee with Madhubala..."
Bittuji's eyes widened in shock... "Madhubala Malik?"
" how many Madhubalas do you know Bittuji... " RK asked faking curiousity.
"Of course just 2..." He said smiling happily.
" So do you think I am going to DRINK coffee with the elder Madhubala??" RK raised an eyebrow at him.
"What are you talking Chief... How can she even come here..." He said as the image of RK having Coffee with the black and white Madhubala formed in his mind.
" Ahaan Bittuji... Dimagh ki batti jali... " He said as he sipped his coffee.

Madhubala was sitting in her porch staring at the beautiful sunset when the maid came in to inform her about RK's arrival. She was confused at first as to why he was here but then it struck her... Pick me up at 6 and her eyes widened with shock.
" Oh my God... How can I do this... " She said to herself. Then she sharply turned at her maid. " What time is it?"
"5:59 mam..." she answered.
" Couldnt you have told me this before..." She said as she fumed inside her room leaving a confused woman behind who thought what she should have reminded her.
Madhu went through her clothes. It was filled with designer wear. On the other days she would have taken an hour or two but when RK was there at 5:59 and she had to go out at 6, she hardly could think of giving that much of time to chit chat to herself. She hated making people wait. That was highly unproffessional, she believed.
Within 5 minutes she was standing in a dark blue evening dress that came to her knee's length. And a chocolate brown clutch and brown heels. She looked at herself proudly. She looks good anyhow. She did touch up and adjusted her hair. And in the next 10 minutes she was ready to rock.
She walked out of her room and entered the elevator and descended to 2nd floor which was the waiting room of her apartment. As she stepped out of the elevator and entered the hall, she found Rishabh surfing through a magazine. He looked really stunning and there was no doubt in that. And with the scrutinizing gaze of his as he read the magazine, he looked so hot and cute at the same time.
" As much as I hate to say this but I do apologize for being late. "
Rishabh looked up at her. She was looking breath taking. He wondered How does she manage to look so awesome in everything. " No... Not at all Mam... I was expecting even more... I think you are quite early. " He winked as he smiled at her.
" Aah.. That really helped..." Madhu said rolling her eyes.
They both set out to the car and went away.

I dont know how I wrote it.. Just tried my best... Please tell me what shortcomings u felt... the story would be a long ome so RK's character will develop
