No brain & bloody mess

Hi friends,

We are back with another DOTW.

This weeks highlights:

Well, this week, we have been witness to a cold bloody tragedy as a result of foolishness. Two woman's (Nalini and Roja) has been brutally attacked, where one of the has to pay with her life and her sister is seriously injured. Ashok brainwash a dumb/ too innocent Kaveri to go against her own husband and accuse him for a crime he hasn't done. A new character has been introduced as the officer who is going to investigate this murder case.

Do you think this murder could have been prevented?

What you think about Kaveri and they way her character has been portrayed? How will her reaction be when she realise Ashok has used her?

What will happen with Jeeva? Will the police officer believe his innocent?

Do you think Roja will survive and give testimony against Ashok?

What is the best punishment for Ashok?

What do you think about the violence they show on television? When people drink or smoke on screen they do have a warning about how danger it is, should they do the same with violence scenes too?

Do you think this murder could have been prevented? Yes definately since, its a total waste.

What you think about Kaveri and they way her character has been portrayed? How will her reaction be when she realise Ashok has used her?
She's annoying to bits. She will beg for an apology and i hope Jeeva doesnt accept that and throw her out.

What will happen with Jeeva? Will the police officer believe his innocent?
Jeeva will be in prision for a while and then the police officer will believe him after collecting the evidence.

Do you think Roja will survive and give testimony against Ashok?
Yes she will survive but no i dont think she will give testimony cos she wines abt subbu romba too much.

What is the best punishment for Ashok?
HAHAHAHA MY FAVOURITE. Well, I will dress him up into a easter bunny suit. Then, tie him up several times with a rope and chain until he cant nudge. Then, bring in a horse and tie him upside down and throw several rocks with a cricket bat at him. Then after he's injured throw him off the cliff.

What do you think about the violence they show on television? When people drink or smoke on screen they do have a warning about how danger it is, should they do the same with violence scenes too?
Definately therefore, the families espcecially with small kids are aware of this since, they can become influenced with this. Otherwise, for that episode place it at a later time. Thats what they do with English programmes they place a warning and slot it at a later time.

No brain & bloody mess

Do you think this murder could have been prevented?

yes most definitely. By now all of u know how I feel about this "pottu thallufying"!!!!!

What you think about Kaveri and they way her character has been portrayed? How will her reaction be when she realise Ashok has used her?

"Sick" is the word that comes to my mind when i see this Kaveri on screen. I dont think she would ever realise that Ashok used her - she would not know what is "exploiting", i am sure.

What will happen with Jeeva? Will the police officer believe his innocent?

Well, initially, the police would like to close the case but I am sure that when they know who Supriya is, they will dig deeper.

Do you think Roja will survive and give testimony against Ashok?

she will survive alright and I am sure Ashok will brain wash her once again.

What is the best punishment for Ashok?

Well, just read Usha's post - she has once again prooved the title I gave her - "best punisher of the forum" - i would just hand Ashok over to Usha.

What do you think about the violence they show on television? When people drink or smoke on screen they do have a warning about how danger it is, should they do the same with violence scenes too?

It makes me wonder as to how India still has a population problem!!! The serial makers say that they are only showing real life happenings. If this is what real life is all about - "pottu thallufy" whoever is against you - how come we still have so many alive??!!!! moot point.

Jokes apart, yes we do need some censoring - parental guidance, not for kids, watch at your own risk etc., etc., - MUST be shown with such episodes.

Do you think this murder could have been prevented?

I think it should have prevented.

What you think about Kaveri and they way her character has been portrayed? How will her reaction be when she realise Ashok has used her?

Her character is a utter waste and a poor portraying. Her reaction will be nothing other whining bad about Ashok and Good about her husband. She can't do anything other than whining .

What will happen with Jeeva? Will the police officer believe his innocent?

I think he will be put in jail and sentenced for the murder as Ashok and the other police officer got evidence which is strongly against him. So, few chance of Jeeva coming out of the prison. It may happen but not in near future.

Do you think Roja will survive and give testimony against Ashok?

Hmm that's is not gona happen at all. She will still goes on about Subramaniyam Subramaniyam. As Anjali said even the god can't change her craziness.
What is the best punishment for Ashok?
He should be punished severly and after seeing the grudge aginst him and shyam ganesh. I hope that shyam will do something to capture Ashok as he is kind of suspicious of Ashok. I wish Shyam will put him in jail. He should get life or death sentence.

What do you think about the violence they show on television? When people drink or smoke on screen they do have a warning about how danger it is, should they do the same with violence scenes too?

Hmm true but I really don't think because the movies they put have so much violence than the one in serials and not many children watch serials. SO I don't see many problems in it. And you just can't blame serials alone because the news which they broadcast manly has violence and even the cartoon they watch have violence for example: Tom and jerry ( its my favorites but if you see it has violence ). But on the whole I think they should reduce the violence they show it's very disturbing for us to watch it.

Pretty much what I wanted to say as answers, every one else has said it already.
Meli, thanks for the interesting questions.

Usha, you really have an imagination track that most of us including the serial people can't think of, when it comes to torture/punishment. You made me laugh with this one. Just dressing Ashok up in a bunny suit was good enough - it had me in splits 😆 😆

Do you think this murder could have been prevented?

definitely. if roja & nalini had been more cautious, this murder will have been surely prevented.

What you think about Kaveri and they way her character has been portrayed? How will her reaction be when she realise Ashok has used her?

the actress vanaja who potrays kaveri has done it in such a convincing way that she just irritates everyone. kaveri as a character is a really whiny & weak willed woman. someone whom i wish doesn't exist in this world.😡😡

her character is a shame to womenkind & i hope they don't make her a fool till the end of the serial. kaveri's reaction when she realises ashok has made her a fool? ha.. what else will it be other than whining & more whining? lols!😆

What will happen with Jeeva? Will the police officer believe his innocent?

i think jeeva will be accquited. he is innocent & one of the best things in this serial, it'll be a pity if he's put behind bars for some crime he didn't commit.😭😭😭

the police officer seems to be a honest & just man so i think jeeva has a higher chance of being granted freedom. i just hope CJ Baskar won't tarnish the image of this officer by showing him as ashok's or chak's puppet.😡😡

Do you think Roja will survive and give testimony against Ashok?

not likely is it? they'll probably make her lie in a coma till the case is over. and even if she recovers, i think she won't give testimonial against her darling subramani.😡😡 roja is beyond help already, how can we expect her to give a just testimony? somemore we all very well know how possessive she gets over subramani.

What is the best punishment for Ashok?

death is too easy a punishment for scum like ashok. he should be made to suffer immense pain for hurting so many women & ruining 2 women's lives.😡😡 i can't say all the things i want to do to him cos they are too violent to be written in this general forum.😉

What do you think about the violence they show on television? When people drink or smoke on screen they do have a warning about how danger it is, should they do the same with violence scenes too?

what can i say except to rave on how insensitive directors these days are? they add in large doses of violence to improve their TRP's. and when this tried & tested formula works, they add in even more violence to boost the ratings of the show.😭😭

most of the auidences don't seem to care much of the amount of the violence shown but i hope at least the actors enacting out these scenes can put their foot down. i mean if they all as one voice refuse to enact these kind of scenes, the director will have no choice but to scrap those kind of scenes.😊

but i guess that will never happen cos most actors can be silenced or bought over with money. or most of them just can't see how much these kind of scenes affect the general public.😭😭

Thank you guys for the replies 😉

You all have made many valuable points. 👏

Usha, I have no word to say other than agree with Roja akka. You always live up to the title given to you by Roja akka. 😆

Dasa statement about permanent life sentence and dream about Subhu-Roja romance was also good, even us viewers cant taken it…how will that guy do rest of his life. 😆

Leena, I am on the same boat like you, my punishment for him is also to violent to write, I don't want him to die so easily, he should pay for his sin and everyday he wakes up, he should suffer and think about it and wish he died instead of living. 😡 Okay I stop here. 😊

What Leena, Roja akka and Shalini have told about the violence in Tv is true and I agree. Each of you has pointed out the reality.

The do give the wrong message to the viewers, if you don't like someone, then pottu thalufies them. 😡

The actors should take a little bit responsibility for the society cause they do occur as a role model for some people and television is one of the media with strong influence on people. 😉

About the cartoon, it is 100% truth and I do have seen that on real life. It has bad influence on some kids. 😭

usha, in US and western counties they do have action drama and daily soap, that why the late timing...but in India, the daily soap is mixed up with action so they dont care about it and the government doesnt take any action.
