You are all too familiar with this love triangle, especially with the reruns going on. There was a time when JJKN fans were nearly equally divided between Armaan and Purab, the contenders for our Jassi's heart. 1. Purab was rich, good-looking and decent, and loved Jassi a lot. Yet Jassi chose the arrogant, at times manipulative Armaan Suri over him. Why?

absolutely, tons of people loved Purab as well...we've seen some die-hard Purab fans!

1. Purab was rich, good-looking and decent, and loved Jassi a lot. Yet Jassi chose the arrogant, at times manipulative Armaan Suri over him. Why?
I think it was just that arrogance that made Jassi grasp towards Armaan Suri! He was like a magnet for ladies. And it is often said...girls like bad boys 😉😆 I think it was those clumsy and close moments that Jassi had also spent with him make the difference. Ohhhh, another thing. Jassi probably had high regard and respect for Armaan. This is because even though he had to choose between beautiful Pari and chashmish Jassi, he didn't reject her, but took her on as well. And when everyone kept making fun of Jassi, he still kept her.

2. Do you think that if Jassi had met Purab before she joined Gulmohur, she would still have fallen for Armaan?
Hmmm, pretty hard. Purab was a really nice guy to Jassi-loved her 😃 But still, i think she would have fallen for Armaan because of the regard he had for. Being the chairman for such a big buisness in the glamorous world of fashion, he took her on. But still, Purab was so nice that even he could've taken Jassi on for his buisness and Jassi would've never need Gulmohur 😛

3. Why do you think Purab ran away 2 days before his engagement with Jassi?
I really don't know. I dont think he was ashamed because he really liked Jassi and had feeling for her. Maybe towards the near of his engagement, he had a feeling that he was taking the wrong step...or maybe he sorta felt Jassi didn't like him.

4. What was your reaction when he landed up in Mauritius?
Haven't seen that episode as yet...so when i watch...i will know my reaction 😆😉

5. Was it right for Jassi to accept Purab's help in becoming Jessica Bedi, knowing that he had ditched her before?
I think it was right. Perhaps because he truly did help her. She might have not cared for the ditch by Purab as she never really loved him 😊 And when she was becoming Jessica Bedi, she had a goal in mind and a reason to become it 😛 She wanted to fufill that goal so bad that she did anything-took on the makeover. I guess this was the reason that she took Purab's help. It was a reason to bring her closer to the fashion world...and Armaan.

6. Both Armaan and Purab had hurt Jassi terribly. What did Armaan have that made Jassi still trust and go back to him, declining Purab's love?
I guess since Armaan developed love for her...it become a stronger bond because it was double sided. Jassi never loved Purab to go back to him. Both had hurt her very much...Armaan pretending his love to her and Purab's ditches. But Armaan must have had some feelings even when he did do acts because though he was acting, he came to realize this feeling only later.

Love is blind! Another reason would be that opposit attracts, Purab in many areas was similar to Jassi where Armaan was completely different than her. Each of us has an unconscious capacity to scan another person's blueprint. The people we're most attracted to are those who have a blueprint that complements our own. In other words we usually tend to fall in love with a person who is different than us, thats why I guess Jassi chose Armaan over Purab.

2. Do you think that if Jassi had met Purab before she joined Gulmohur, she would still have fallen for Armaan?

I seriously think NO, I believe that God has chosen our partners for us, and Almighty chose Armaan for Jassi. So even if Jassi had met Purab before Armaan she still would have eventually ended up with Armaan because Jassi and Armaan were meant to be together.

3. Why do you think Purab ran away 2 days before his engagement with Jassi?

I have no idea, Probably he understood that Jassi did not love him and thus he chose not to trap Jassi in a relationaship based on one sided love. But then again wasn't he kind of jealous when Armaan and Jassi were finally togther after the makeover. Its highly confusing.

4. What was your reaction when he landed up in Mauritius?

My exact reaction was "What does he want now?" as he had already borken poor Jassi's heart and now he appears out of nowhere in Mauritius. I was afraid that he might hurt Jassi again ,that too at that time when Jassi was going to through such a hard time emotionally.

5. Was it right for Jassi to accept Purab's help in becoming Jessica Bedi, knowing that he had ditched her before?

Maybe, Jassi has a soft heart and she easily forgives people, I cant really balme her for forgiving Purab, after all Purab was a good friend.

6. Both Armaan and Purab had hurt Jassi terribly. What did Armaan have that made Jassi still trust and go back to him, declining Purab's love?

I dont know the answer to this question, one reason can be that Jassi truly loved Armaan and thus was she took a biased decision by declining Purab's love and going to Armaan ( not that I mind). But I really look forward to other people'e answer to this question because I dont think mines right.😆

Hmmm no she wouldn't have fallen for Armaan. She would stick with Purab thru thick and thin...Even without marriage...she was only Armaan's exactly in the same way she would be only PURAB's .....

Bec he was becoming more popular with the viewers than Armaan...🤣 🤣 And T and D were under pressure to get him out of the serial.

I so loved his entry back in the serial. Wished he had stayed longer. And given her away to Armaan just like Raghav did later.

Why not ...he was a friend . Forgive and forget...

Well honestly I think she went through most of the misery thanks to Armaan.

Jassi loved only Armaan...there was no one else for her.......That's why she still preferred to be with the one she LOVED.

Jassi saw Purab in the form of Nandu as a friend whom she cud share her thoughts as she grew older and manture,But Armaan was her prince charming, whom she wanted to be with 😉

Maybe the storyline would be differen 😕

I guess he felt that Jassi may have accepted him as a friend but not a companion in life whom she would fall in love with and make as a life partner. I have to see that part in the rerun to give a correct answer

Not seen it Yet but read in the update archives and by imagination I felt that he wantedto give a second chance for his and Jassi's relation. But he failed miserably since Jassi was still strong on felings for Armaan but also hurt due to what had happened in Gulmohor...

Yes since he wanted her to change to know the world and the treatment which she was being given.

For me , Jassi started loving Arman coz in the entire world when everyone was rejecting her for her looks and dispresepcting her it was only Arman who gave her a job, respected her and infact protected her from so many insults . In that way she was naturally attracted to him and then it slowly developed into love infact I would say more of Devoted love who didnt care if he reciprocated her love or not , something like Meera but then when he did ( fake love) reciprocate, she fell for him hard and her feelings came out and she wanted the love . As for Purab, its just that love didnt happen from Jassi's side , she looked at him as a friend but her feelings for Arman was more than friendship which started as devoted love and then developed into deep human love .

2. Do you think that if Jassi had met Purab before she joined Gulmohur, she would still have fallen for Armaan?

hmmmmmmmm........I dont think so .I think Jassi would have fallen for Arman again as I think she wanted someone who was completely opposite to her and who would come like a storm and just blow her away and Arman did just that.

3. Why do you think Purab ran away 2 days before his engagement with Jassi?

Purab ran away coz the scriptwriters wanted it that way. I remember reading that apurva put his foot down when his role was bcoming more negative to accomdate Purab so the makers decided to chop his role and thus this was a way they found to make his character dissapear from the serial .

4. What was your reaction when he landed up in Mauritius?

My exact reaction was " Oh God , not again " , I had always been irritated by Purab mainly coz I just didnt identify with a person who was absolutely white and also I wasnt impressed with Samir Soni's acting.

5. Was it right for Jassi to accept Purab's help in becoming Jessica Bedi, knowing that he had ditched her before?

Anything post makeover didnt make sense . The jesica bedi times were horrible and very illogical so It didnt make sense at all that she took the help of Purab even after he ditched her . The only explanation i can come up with is that perhaps she overlooked the betrayal for a greater cause and thats " revenge from Arman and gang"

6. Both Armaan and Purab had hurt Jassi terribly. What did Armaan have that made Jassi still trust and go back to him, declining Purab's love?

The best part of Arman was that he never gave up. He never sacrificed and he would constantly try to get what he wanted . Like during the jealousy days , he would pester Jassi to accept that she loved him and also confess his love to her every single episode . That was the way he was, he wouldnt give up and that must have melted Jassi . Purab was just a friend and so there was no question of going back to him and most importantly she didnt love him . Love cannot be forced , also as jessica she saw Arman's true love for Jassi and that must have made her realise how much he loved her and also her love never faded away and she inspite of everything still loved him deep inside.
