It was really funny to see Popatlal-Jethalal scene and that Madhavi-Goldsmith scene was very touching, the background sounds added more to it. And yes, agree with you, why they arranged a car for the entry of Bhide ? Now I am sure the romance between Bhide and Madhavi will be boring because romance only looks good most of the times when only two couples are romancing alone. It doesn't looks good when they romance openly LOL 😆

Madhavi and Bhide scenes are the best I think. They are the most genuine loving middle class family. And they seem to truly care for each other.
The jewellery shop scene was very touching indeed. You know there was a show on Sabtv called RK Laxman ki Duniya. It was quite good in the beginning until it jumped the shark. There when they celebrated something, the 3-4 families would have a small get-together and cook simple things like idli vada.TMKOC characters are always going on about how they are middle class and can't afford things and yet they always go to extravagant lengths for every single festival.
All the shows of the sab tv eventually go into moral service. Irk laxman was good initially and so was papad pol, sajan re jhooth mat bolo and so on. Each of them committed suicide when the audience refused to die of boredom 😆Originally posted by: severus1
