One arrested in Mumbai for threatening Salman Khan's lawyer

MUMBAI: The Bandra Police arrested an accused on Thursday night who was threatening advocate Dipesh Mehta for extortion since last few months. The accused was known to Mehta. The police will produce him before a court at afternoon. Mehta had represented actor Salman Khan in the Hit-And-Run Case of 2002
The accused had threatened Mehta more then 30 times after identifying himself as Azad. He had demanded a sum of Rs 2 crore from Mehta. He was using a local mobile number for making the calls. The police learnt that maximum calls were made from Santa Cruz and Bandra.
