Yes this is the same film that Imtiaz is making, not another one. Window Seat is the placeholder title for this film, not the actual title. It's the concept of someone looking out into an unknown world which Imtiaz liked so he kept the title that for now.
And yeah, hey look no Alia! 😆 Those were clearly rumours to keep attention to Alia until Highway was out. Ranbir said himself in the Highway interview that Imtiaz chose Deepika over Alia for this film despite him wanting Alia in it. Imtiaz chose Alia for Highway instead. Oh and this is not a love triangle.
