The controversy surrounding the release of Gulaab Gang' is over! Division bench of Delhi High Court has lifted the ban that was issued yesterday on the release of Gulaab Gang'.
The much-publicised film stars Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla and is allegedly based on the life of activist Sampat Pal and her organisation Gulabi Gang. In Pal's plea she said no permission was sought prior to making of the film and had alleged that it contains defamatory content which would adversely affect her reputation.
The producers of Gulaab Gang', Sahara One Media and Entertainment Ltd. moved the High Court today to lift the ban earlier today. The court will hear the matter further on the case on Monday.
