CHAPTER 27:
The one decision of her father had damaged her life beyond repair... she sat near the window and saw the outside Jashn of harem ladies, they were all thrilled to participate in the meena bazaar which every women in harem dreams... after all today they are gonna see their husband shehensha, with a hope he sees them and can spend their time with him... all the women of harem were dressed in finest silk clothes and had decorated themselves with finest jewellery they could get...
But for her the hope of a loving and caring husband in her life has vanished... all 3 years she spent her life in amer in hope that one day he will come to take her back in his life...
her prayer were answered, he dint come but his badshahath came to amer to take her back to agra...

" hey kanha, i thought he has forgiven me...but i have not done anything which is against him"
Jodha shed her tears in pain...and looked outside again, in a hope she could see him...
"Salima begum said he cares for me but why he rudely behaves with me, why he hates me...??"

Jalal reached the meena bazaar, and visited each stall, all the women were trying to woo him... he smiled and stopped infront of a bandhis stall ...a dancer in sultanate...
Maham eyes were popped out when Jalal stopped infront of bandhis stall...
he purchased some clothes from her stall and asked her to meet him in her hojra tonight...
Maham signalled Resham to go to jodhas hojra... and do as she said...

HB noticed the change in jalals behaviour, he is not the person who visits any bandhi for his nights, but its the first time, he is doing the unusual...
The begums of jalal felt insulted that Jalal picked up a bandhi in meena bazar...it was insult to the Mughal begums...but what they could do other than cursing their luck...
The senior ladies of harem were not happy the way jalal insulted the Begumites of harem...
Ruqu wanted to burn that bandhi alive but could not get courage to go against Jalals wish...
"Huzoor ab ye bandhi bhi begum ban jaayegi..." Hoshiyaar murmered in low tone...
she slaps him in anger...
"khamosh, badzaath, ab niklo yahan se"
Ruquaiyya walked off from Meena bazzar this dint go unnoticed by harem ladies...
they were more happy to see Ruquaiyya walking off...

Jodha senses someones presence in her hojra... she turns to see who it is...but she could not see anyone there...
she calls out her daasis but there is no one near by...as all are gone to meena bazaar...
thr guards near the door hears Jodha and asks her... is there any problem inside...
Jodha nods No...

she was about to turn inside...when She hears that begumites of harem are returning back from meena bazaar that too so early... Jodha hears them...as all the ladies were discussing how Jalal picked up a bandhi for his night...as it was insult to mughal womens who took participation in meena baazzar
Jodha feels disgusted to hear what her husband did..."how can a shehensha of hindustan stoop so low he dont even care for any one, not even ammi jaan, not even to Ruquaiyya Begum...cheee"

Ruquaiyya fumes in anger, hoshiyyar passes her hukka...
"hoshiyaar, i cant understand what is Jalal up to, he picked up a bandhi for his nights, what has happened to him, it would have been better, if he had slept with Jodha begum, atleast she is a shehzaadi"
Hoshiyaar seemed shocked to hear this...
"Begum sahiba kya keh rahi hai.."
"i know why jalal is doing all this, he wants to hurt Jodha begum so he is using all these cheap tricks..."
"Begums sahiba, that bandhis room is next to jodha begums, he wants to take revenge on Jodha begum, may be thats why he picked her up."
"I know hoshiyaar, do one thing, throw that bandhi outside harem as soon as possible ..."
"but Ruquaiyya begum, if shehensha comes to know..."
"Jalal will not question me hoshiyaar do as i said..."

"Huzoor Jodha begum sensed my presence, but i escaped from her..."
"resham did anyone see you when you came out..."
"no one huzoor, i told the guards not to open the mouth..."
"lets wait for right time Resham..."

Jodha made up her mind that she will speak to him today at any cost for the yesterdays insult of her...
she walks through the harem and constantly speaking to herself...
Maham notices Jodha moving towards Jalals hojra...
"yaa alllah, ye toofan kahan jaa rahi hai..."
resham wonders what toofan she is talking about...
"Huzoor humeain tho koi toofan nahin nazar aa raha"
"Bewakoof, Jodha begum, jalal ke hojre jaa rahi hai, roko usko..."
"Huzoor, ye humse nahin hoga, Jodha begum ko rokna hamari bas ki baath nahin hai..."

Ruquaiyya visits the senior ladies, as they had called her to discuss about Jalals behaviour yesterdays in meena bazaar...
"Ammi jaan, i dont know whats wrong with Jalal, to take revenge on jodha begum he is picking up a bandhi of harem..."
"Haan ruquaiyya, i understand my son very well, but he insulted shahi begums of harem"
"Ammi jaan, jalal ko maaf kardijiye, woh hosh maein nahin the...i know its Maham Angas saadish"
Gulbadam begum raised her voice...
"Ruquaiyya, kuch bolne se pehle socha kijiye.."
"phuphhi jaan, its a fact, this maham anga jab chahe jab jalal ko jodha begum ki khilaaf badkaaathi rehthi hai...aur jalal badla lene ke liye aisi harkath karne lagi hai"
Jeeeji anga agrees with Ruquaiyya Begum...
"i think ruquaiyya is correct, whaterever happend with Adham khan is past, just for that maham cant spoil Jalals mind every day, i think its time we need to speak to maham, Jodha is jalals begum, let them both sort out all the difference in between them why a third person need to come between..."
Ruquaiyya was not happy with it...salima observes it and speaks...
"Haan Ammi jaan, whenever shehensha comes to my hojra, i feel he is in love with jodha begum, but he is not able to forget the past 3 years, if both of them spend some time together everything will be alright, ...Ruquaiyya Begum, i know its difficult for you, untill Jallal sorts out his differences with jodha begum, we have to see worst of Jalals revenge on her, so its better we help him come out of this phase...i hope you understand..."
"aap wajah farmaathi hai, salima begum, than too as a wife its difficult for me, but there is nothing difficult for BEK"
while they are discussing this, a bandhi informs them that Jodha going to jalals hojra,,,,,
"yaa allah, ye jodha begum bhi na, kuch na kuch kar dethi hai...".. HB told cautiously...
"haan, Jodha begum ko ye kadam utaane ki kya jaroorath thi, pehle baagne ki koshish, ab ye, patha nahin jalal kya karega unke saath ab"
Ruquaiyya seemed worried about Jallal...
Salima was calm...
"Ammi jaan, ruquaiyya begum, do not worry about it, whatever happens it will be for good..."
Ruquaiyya made her face..
"Aap nahin jaanthi, Jodha begum ke naam sunthe hi jalal haiwaan ban jaatha hai,ab aapki jodha begum jo bhi karegi, uska asar hum par bhi padega, kal raath ek bandhi ke hojre maine waqt gujaara hai, patha nahin aur kya kya dekhna padega..."
