It's a known fact that Sony Entertainment
Television's popular CID cops Inspector Daya
(Dayanand Shetty) and Abhijeet (Aditya Srivastav)
are loved across the world. But the dup were
surprised to see their popularity in their own city
Mumbai recently.

The CID team was recently shooting on the streets
of Mumbai for an episode. And an insider
whispered in our ears that the actors were mobbed
on the street by locals.

The special episode that features around the
Mumbai Dabbawallahad to be shot in the backdrop
of Mumbai locales.

Informs the source, "The local people just gathered
around their favourite cops and did not want to
budge away which made it very difficult to shoot."

Only after the crowd was controlled by authorities
that the team could resume back shooting.
Catching a glimpse of their loved actors, the crowd
was full of smiling faces.

The upcoming episode of CID will be revolving
around a murder mystery in Mumbai where the
Dabbawalla's will be accused for the murder.
