yup of course the revenge is from her side.. at least for now..,at a latter date when Rudra is completely in love with Paro and Laila becomes the reason Paro is harmed in some way or is the reason he loses her then we might see revenge from his side. but that is a long way off...

PS: last line i am assuming is based on the SBS last one? haven't watched it yet.. as i don't watch spoiler scenes till episode airs. but i totally get what u r telling! She pretending n him not really doing is fine by me of course! cz after all fidelity to Paro should come from his mind not Laila's! 😆

I know the TM n some have an issue, i personally don't! I just want him to lay off her once he marries Paro 😳

CVs folly is to expect us to find Rudra's sexual advances towards Paro as "hot". They want us to forget all the events leading up to the point and take the hot scenes in a vacuum and find it extremely titillating.

I find it titillating alright and get inspired to fire another hot Fanfiction. The truth however, is that Rudra is taking advantage of both girls. Laila, because she has made herself too easily available for him. She probably suffers from low self-esteem or insecurity because of the way society has cast her aside as a fallen woman. Paro, because he is taking liberties with her without her permission.

I'd be happy watch this love triangle, and see how each participant seethes with self-righteous fury. It will be such a treat to see Rudra conflicted over his physical need for Laila and his guilt every time he sees the wholesomeness of Paro.

It will be a treat to see Laila burn with jealousy, yet, give in to Rudra because she is too afraid to lose him.

It will be a treat to watch Paro feel attracted to Rudra, despite herself, fully knowing his affair with Laila.

There can be so many layers of build up and emotions. But, we will be given some black n white fare, Laila bad, Paro good, Rudra soon to become hero...and good.

But here is why i feel a new story line or an out of the regular show is important

Okay first of all the revenue model of these shows are not entirely trp based , trp is just an indicator of the total viewership on TV , if they go by the regular tested formula yes they can get the regular audience to watch the show , but every other form of revenue whether advertisement , or rights for companies like netflixs to sell the series (may not be common with Indian shows but we are going there -cos of the amount of internet viewership)

Now this is dependant on viewers like us , who would want to watch the show on internet , or later as a series .Here is why i feel it is important to experiment , cos this show anyway cannot gather the regular saas bahu audience (trps are not good) but it has the potential to increase popularity ,IPK even when the trps were not that good was one of the highest paid AD slots cos of its popularirty more outside india popularity.

in short they have two options

1. try to gather trps by going the regular way 1 vamp 1 sati savitri 1 dashing hero-cant work because regular audience has better saas bahu options

2.otherwise concentrate on the story , write a catchy story make the show popular , increase the bargaining power by the popularity oversees or india

i go with the latter

I'm unhappy with the way character of Laila has been written so far. I'd like to see a more human side to her, show her betrayal, her disappointment and all of that culminating into anger and jealousy.

In an ideal world Rudra owes Laila an explanation. But Rudra is neither ideal nor is this a real world. In fact it would look out of character for him to suddenly explain himself to Laila.

@NB: I agree. It would be extremeeelyyy out of character for Rudra to give an explanation to anyone at all..atleast an overt one

It's too harsh to say Rudra abusive Paro I know in the first week when he killed her husband Rudra went too overboard with his manhandling behavior with all the dragging, pushing and pulling but then his behavior justified because sees her as a criminal only then but other than that Rudra has always been very caring and protective towards Paro.
