Like have you ever purchased Roopa Ki Banian because Salman / Sunny / Saif / Govinda have endorsed it?

Or switched from Frooti to Slice because Katrina Kaif endorses it? Or started drinking Pepsi cause everyone from Aamir to Ranbir endorses it?

Or started using L'Oreal cause Ash also uses them?

Started taking Dabur Sona Chandi Chawanprash because apparently SRK eats it everyday😆

Have you been influenced by your favorite celeb to buy or start using a brand that they have endorsed, ever?

Also, do you think that the brand or product that a cerain celeb endorses shows the kind of values they believe in or do they simply do it for commercial purposes or a mix of both?

My MIL started using SS Tel after seeing Govinda and other has been actors praise it...believe it or not, it actually works too!😆

I do that generally. I bought sony mobile when HR was a brand ambassador...fell in love with the brand since then and I still continue to use it..so and so...have used john player shirts..iball headphones etc..

Celeb endorsements do not influence my decision overtly but creates a brand recall memory for that particular product. There are hundreds of soaps in the supermarket and they probably all have similar properties and prices. But when I see a soap which I associate with the smiling endorsement from my favorite star, my mind sort of goes 'click". If you know what I mean.

This I can understand, Hasini! No one would want stained teeth like SRK's and Shahid's lack of height must have put everyone off Complan for ever!😆

Totally!

I used Lux for years, because all my favorite screen stars used to endorse it and the moment you see the product on the shelf, the association comes into play and you naturally go for the product endorsed by your favorite star!
