This one of the reason why I love this forum..we all think differently..Amd it's interesting to see what people consider "good acting"

Instead of comparing the best films of both the actors, do a comparison of the first few years of their professional life.

Aamir's filmography from 1988 to 1993

QSQT, Raakh, Love-Love-Love, Deewana Mujh Sa Nahin, Awwal Number, Tum Mere Ho, Dil, Afsana Pyar Ka, DHKMN, Isi Ka Naam Zindagi, Daulat Ki Jang, JJWS, Parampara, HHRPK.

He was nominated four times in six years and won one award for Best Debut (QSQT)

Out of the 13 films he did, five of them were hits and four recieved critical acclaim for Aamir in some degrees.

Ranbir's filmography from 2007 to 2012

Saawariyaa, BAH, WUP, APKGK, Rocket Singh, Anjaana Anjaani, Raajneeti, Rockstar, Barfi.

He was nominated six times in six years and won five awards (one for best debut, two for best actor critics and two for popular actor male)

Out of of the 9 films he did, five of them were hits and five of them recieved critical acclaim for Ranbir.

Not saying that Ranbir is better than Aamir by a long mile...but the comparison itself is entirely unfair. You cannot compare the best work of an actor who has been in the Industry for more than 20 years with one who has been there for just 7 years!
