I agree with you Meg and Cordy.
AD's character had so much potential but utlimately as Sukhi has mentioned, the worst part is that Bani is just a weapon in his hand, not some innocent girl who needed the help.
I so wish the mentor-student relationship between the two improves.
Poor Bani - she has always been used by others.
Same for Jai too.

It will be great if at the end AD turns out to be a good character (in the guise of an evil one) and eventually helps JnB to get together. But wishful hoping I think.

Sangita, beautifully written and agree with every bit of it.

No relations are maintained in KS and it's highly unrealistic.

I felt really sad for Karuna's character because it was butchered. Her reason was one of dumbest reason I have ever come across.

Jigs and Pia – the less said the better. I have always thought that Jigs is one selfish person who only cares about herself and her status. Even when Ash was acting, that was what I thought about Jigs. She does all evil in the name of her love for her children just like what Pia is doing now.

AD – "But then again he has even managed to complete the destruction process of Bani's innocence in the fire of his own hatred for JW." – You said dear….each and every bit of it is truth. That's what I have been trying to say. Even if Bani willing accepted to take his help, I think AD has rubbed salt in already existing Bani's wound so much that her real self is being lost. Last episode, her eyes only had hatred and nothing but hatred. I am so missing the real Bani. I want revenge but I don't want Bani to lose her innate character of being kind. I don't want her to become heartless with others except with the three witches.

Like Cordy and Megs said, I don't think anyone would be explaining everything to Bani but then I am wondering how would Bani ever stop seeking revenge if she does not come to know the truth?!?

sangs, a very well written post dear and i agree that in Ks every relationship has been destroyed to the point that it cannot be corrected and they have butchered character of every one in KS including maasi, karuna, pia, jigs, rano also(as she was shown too helpless to save bani from pia and also i must say postleap she is not strong enough to stand against pia and this is just increasing my anger on her also and the way she is taking care of child of that reptile)

why ranveer was not able to help Jw by standing against pia and his mother. so in KS they first butcher the character of a person and then they r showing that a mere low educated girl was able to make fool of a big businessman and well educated ranveer, actually i am not able to digest all these things.

coming to character of jigs and pia, i must say they r kalanks on the name of sister, if sisters r such then a person is much better without them. i think balaji was able to make me happy in feeling that i have no sister.

by showing pia winning over bani, whether balaji is trying to tell that evil always wins and same thing goes for AD also now even if bani will be able to take revenge from witches and pia don't u think AD has not only killed innocence of bani by not telling her the entire truth about Jw behavior but will be killing her soul to deep extent when total truth will come out. so i think balaji's main funda is that the only way to raise the tRP is to destroy every relationship in a serial.

I agree with you but wat can we hope from any K-serials .
I always thought that the biggest example of destruction of relation is KZK but now KS also joined the club.There is no sanictiy in any relation KS.while it was husband-wife ,mother-son,sisters,brother-sister.infect KS is just mockery of all relation.I thought only JB realtion left there but then ONS.
Jigs-pia-the less said the better.
Karuna -i liked her character so i feel sad for her .gambling and drinking is just not go with her.
In fect all characters mausi,dadi,adi,ranveer,nattu,rano were butchered too much .Why does mausi not say anything to karuna?why does ranveer not go against his mother?sab tamasha dekhne ke siva karte hi kya hai?
In saat phere all charactere play an important role whle they belong to saloni's family or nahar's family.but in KS they are all truely GFNs.

good post sangs... i always thought about this subject... but the fact that the things parted two ways... either the creatives are unfamiliar the normal reltionships and how they exists after living so long in an illussioned world behind the camera and light... they are far away from a normal life... or they expect that the viewers are not normal or they are not interested in normal/natural stories... i think the second is more suitable... when they say the middle class house wives are expected to sit in front of tv to watch these serials without fail we can assume we are very much under estimated in the matter of a viewer and enjoyment standard too...... it is a pathetic condition... the way some serials not only ks, kaa or anything is going... we will keep our hand on our head and say... OMG ... no this is not from India... really i feel it... let me tell anyone that it is only these people who works in the reel world find relationships and family life in such an careless way and view... but it harms in a major scale that mostly going unnoticed now... the insecurity of the society is going to errupt which will make the irrepairable damages in lives if this is going on... the kids are doing and saying things which we when kids never dared to even think about... in the serials things are so flexible.. no rule as such.. no manners as such... respect is only to touch the legs of elders... it start and end there... the same person will pull the legs too... the meaning of behaviour and understanding is gone beyond recognision... ... so talking about ks relationship i think we touch only a a bit of the whole story...

Sangs, great post 👏 I agree with every word you wrote...KS and relationship don't go togeter. Personally i wouldn't recommend this show to anyone...in fact the only reason i'm sticking around is b/c well u know.. i'm a big JB despo 😃 the minute JB are paired off with someone else, i'm done with KS.

I just don't get why the creatives/Ekta feel the need to potray so much negativity in almost every character...it makes me wonder if Ekta or that Nanda lady believes in relatioships at all 😕

after your post, all I can add to that is, this serial is really about revenge, it is always someone out to get someone, I agree that after the boundaries the creatives have crossed, it would be very difficult to get it back to sanity but then we have had to swallow, 3 month old fetus living outside an incubator, pregnancies that exceeded nine months, after five years, people in the same attire, the list goes on and on so maybe to be positive, it would come back to Kasam. we can all hope.great writing, I always look forward to your post.

I agree with you Karuna's character created such a strong presence in the series. She played the caring supportive person that both JW and BW needed post ONS coming out. Now she is reduced to sideline being Pia's doormat and her reason for joining hands with Pia such a stupid one. It's Tarun who had hurt her daughter(Bani was merely an unsuspecting spectator in the fiasco.)

its like this whole show is against sisters...and i'm a sister...
