I think she goes OTT in a way to represent lack of manners and eloquence in speech particularly.

She plays Shazia very different from the way rest of the people play their characters in the show..I don't like Shazia one bit and see no redemption for her.

Wonder what was the brief given to her...

Yeah..agreed..I Sometimes feel that her character shud have stayed in comic way only there was no need of negative shade
