Today's was a beautiful well balanced episode and a good start of the week.
Asad finally remembered to give Zoya the gift that Haidar had given and Zoya eagerly opened it to see that it was a doll. Asad teased her saying that it really suited her mentality (LOL Asad Miya, you are improving day by day) but Asad's joke was lost on Zoya who got lost in the doll as soon as she saw it.
Zoya doesn't know that it belongs to her but she felt the connection and she felt that she had seen that doll before and that she had even played with it. She could not remember anything clearly but the feeling was there.
And while Zoya was pondering about the doll in her room her Abbu who had probably gifted her the doll sat at his room thinking of her and the past and how he had asked Zoya's mom to go away with her and how Zoya cried saying "Abbu, don't let me go".
And he admitted that he has no right over Zoya now but still wished if Zoya would forgive him and at least say Abbu to him before he died.
And on the other side Haidar was also remembering the past and crying thinking of his Chutki to whom the doll belonged to... he doesn't know that he had returned his chutki her doll back but he felt that he had done the right thing by giving the doll to Zoya.. Haidar is having an unknown connection to Zoya.
Wonder how the dots will finally connect.
Then comes another night for the newly wed couple... Asad was all engrossed in his lap top and Zoya comes and keeps her cherished gift on the table lovingly..( was she playing with it..😆 .. or was she sitting with it trying to remember something)
Any way Zoya had missed Asad and came near him but seeing him so engrossed at work with his glasses on, she turned to go back dejectedly to be pulled by Asad, who was obviously observing her actions... After all how could the poor guy concentrate on work when his newly wed wife is nearby.
Asad pulled her to his lap and Zoya complained that he was not giving her time. So he closed his lap top and gave her his full attention. As a thank you Zoya kissed his forehead and Asad mischievously gave his right cheek for another kiss and Zoya obliged.
Their emotions took over and it looked like Asad would finally get his much awaited proper kiss this time, but Alas Wajid knocked on the door and Zoya jumped happily saying Pizza, leaving poor Asad baffled and exasperated.
She gets the Pizza and coke and climbs on the bed happily and was about to hog the pizza when she noticed Asad looking at her.. Chalo at least she noticed that Asad was there and even felt guilty and said pizza can wait.
But poor Asad who closed his laptop and gave her his full attention had to tell her that she cannot let the pizza wait and he came and lied down on one side of the bed giving his wife the rest of the bed to enjoy her pizza and diet coke... he knew that somethings in his wife will never change.. and after all it was after another pizza eating on bed that they have agreed not to try to change each other.
And Zoya happily hogged on her pizza all the time blabbering only to realize after sometime that Asad wasn't responding... she looked on to see that he had slept and guiltily she kept her pizza and coke and put the duvet over him and hugged him.
Zoya was guilty that they had lost another night but she knows how understanding Asad is and as Zoya said, as long as Asad is there with her, her future is indeed bright..
And hopefully Asad and she will be together even after the Abbu truth comes out. but would Asad be this understanding then also?
Anyway, this was i feel the best scene of Asad and Zoya after Nikah. It was beautifully executed and Surbhi and RaQesh's expressions were spot on.
And in the other room, Najma was thinking about Nikhat and the dupatta and the strange behaviour of Farhan and Haseena Bi whenever she asked about Nikhat.
And thank God Najma used her brains and found out the address of the hospital which they said they have taken Nikhat and called there to be told that Nikhat wasn't there.
But Najma didn't give up and her queries led to the person on the other side tell her how she could recognize if that Dupatta belonged to that hospital.. next day Najma went to KV and got the dupatta.
Haseena Bhi and Farhan did not even wait for a day to shift to KV.. I haven't stii got over this.

So Nikhat is alive... thank God.. and Najma met her.. i am now looking forwards to Qureshi house drama .
But where is Ayaan? Isn't he coming during this drama as well?
