Beautiful beyond words, yes that sentence always strikes in whenever I see Usman-Zain.
How beautiful their bond is !!!
He is his daddy dearest and he, laadla son whom he loves pampering and spoiling in process. Yea, both has their own set of flaws. Neither he was a perfect father nor he's an ideal son. They represent modern day relations, bond which a father son shares that makes them so real and endearing. Usman has always been a linenant father and his linenacy made Zain what he is but doesn't matter how much he holds ' i do as i please ' attitude, he can never deny his dad well not in many cases and his dad believes in giving complete space for him to develop, like many parents even Usman had thought that he would understand and mature with time but he surely realises now that he left some loopholes, major ones, and now rely on Aaliya to fill them as Zain has crossed that age where he can be taught things sternly, Usman can only be his friend from now on and make him see things and helps him in forming a view for things he's unknown about. Zain listens but do what he feels correct and Usman's calm attitude often not taken seriously by Zain.
I liked how Usman made an attempt to make him realise certain goals he has to formulate now but Zain brushed off. Best part was when Usman just playfully comments over Zain's inner voice and ends the topic. It wouldn't hv been for any use to pressurize or bribe him in joining office, he might have given in to his dad's wish and command but wouldn't have understood motive behind. Through Aaliya, Usman pumped that sense into him.
The best part of the epi for me apart from ZaYa chemistry was the moment Usman giving him advice about work. Zain is new to this world and he has to paint his whole identity by himself in this new world with no mom or dad to hold or cover up for him, he has to move with his morals. Usman started by telling him the base for any work. You ought to have honesty, dedication and courage to succeed anywere. Usman might have failed to inculcate some of basic values in Zain as child but wants to fill up for that now.
Hats off to Harshad and Naved ji for putting up such brilliant show everytime they appear on tube. And presence of such senior actor surely gives some confidence to Harshad to perform better. Even when Harshad appeared like a mediocre in starting to me, his scenes ith Naved ji had always been bang on from very first scene. Their chemistry is somewhat incomparable and frankly this has to 1st sane father son duo for me after Anurag and Moloy from KZK. Doesn't matter how much Zain is close to his mother but he draws strength from his father, he manipulates Usman's advice in his way to suit his living but he never turn deaf ear to them. All these things make me love, respect and cherish their bond. Infact I love Usman-Zain more than Aaliya-Usman even after latter being a perfect example of picture perfect of father daughter.
Huge round of appauds for story writer and creative deartent for coming up with such sketch of a relation and I can only hope that complete justice will be provided to this relation.
