Lets Stop bashing Raman-PLZZ - Page 2

Raman is the character which made me hook to the show!! I say its Raman! That doesn't mean I dislike Ishita...I love Ishita too!! These two are my dear characters but Raman's character has layers and its the most critical character in the show!!So far, his character sketch has been brilliant...I just wish his character to be consistent and would love to see growth in him!!

On your post...Actually its debatable to say who is right and who is wrong...Raman or Ishita? To me personally, I always believe Raman is one sensible and good by heart kind of a guy!! His past has changed him cold and mean!! And with ppl like Ashok and Shagun around him...Hez more complex and intrigued and the situations make him even more worse!

With the characters like Raman, they themselves cannot heal the wounds and here its Ishita who gonna heal him!! So I want Ishita to be more proactive in their relationship but if she herself retaliate ? Ofcourse she needs some time as well and start to understand him...but my only worry is she may be occupied with Ruhi and Ruhi only!! I dont have any complaints as of now with either Ishita or Raman!

People who expect Raman to start loving Ishita right away are expecting too much. Let's run thru what Ishita's subjected him to:

• Constantly interfering in his family life - Ruhi was his business, not hers
• Getting Ruhi handed over to Shagun, accompanied by a media circus
• Taking Ruhi, and insisting on doing duties like taking her in her car, buying her gifts, etc even though she was nobody of Ruhi's
• Her trashing Mihir @ Mihika's behest (granted, she too doesn't know the real Romi)
• Her getting Mihir arrested
• Her defending her mom against charges of suffocating Mrs Bhalla, even though it did happen - granted that it was a mistake
• Her believing Shagun's allegations regarding him & Aditya and marrying him only to come in b/w him & his daughter
• Her assuming that he wants to have sex w/ her, based on that condom

Despite that, he cares about Ishita when it really matters, like bandaging her hands, etc. He made no pretense of loving or even liking her, so it's not like Ishita doesn't know what to expect.

Let Ishita earn his trust first, and the way to do that is simple - start trusting him & his judgement.

Nice post :-) Agree with you.Though he behaves rudely but Raman is good from heart indeed.

I totally agree to your post!!! Raman is still very affected by his past!! He has suffered a lot due to which he changed into an arrogant person!!! But as we say with time his wounds would heal and that would definitely turn him back to the old Raman!!!! Just be positive!!!

I completly agree wz u guys. Like give some breather to poor man. Anybody just cum nd bashes him thts nt fair he also deserve some respect yaar.

😆 I dont know what thrashing and bashing ur talking about, to me it seems more of a healthy discussion. Actual bashing was seen in mbala forum, ipk forum and such where the personal lives of actors were scrutinized.

I think we shouldn't take these discussions to heart because at the end of the day -- it's just a show. Raman and Ishita are not the ideal characters we see in tv soaps, both of them have flaws -- and this is why I love YHM. I'm not going to give pointers on whose a better person in the show, Raman or Ishita because there are as many reasons to dislike their characters, as there are to like them.
