Vashi to Versova: Mansee cut 5 hours from her daily commute
Mansee's co-stars "would look at me with a strange mix of pity and disbelief" when she would tell them how she'd board a bus at 5.30 am from Vashi depot to make it to an Andheri set just before 9 am.
And how she'd pack up by 10 pm, get a bus by 10.30 pm, and reach home just after midnight. "I still can't believe I managed that for over two years," muses the 22-year-old Saathi Re actor (she plays Rashi on the show).
Ever since she moved to Versova, Mansee has much more time on her hands, and "a lot more to do" — be it watching a film or TV show, catching up on her reading, or meeting friends.
Even on her days off, Mansee saves the time she would have spent getting from Vashi to "any popular Bandra hangout", since most of her colleagues and pals live in the Western suburbs.
