Now before I am kicked out of here for spamming😉, let me add a couple of words to the topic.

The generation gap debate I agree is useless. All generations have good and bad things about them. Just depends on what it is that we like to remember a past generation by. Somethings that might have seemed scandulous in the past are widely accepted today and in some cases even appreciated by the society at large. Different generations react to situation differently because of the different exposure they have had. And therefore, comparing one generation or terming it better than the other is not a right comparison to make. Having said that, these comparisons are inevitable. Somethings are ingrained in our minds as to what's right and wrong and to see someone breaking that convention, we can't help but think back to the time when such an action would have been royally snubbed.

And this gap does not exist just between generations. It exists even between siblings born just a few years apart. Life today is changing at a speed not easily maintained by all. Unless we are capable of moving with the times, we will be in the rut comparing our time to the present and always reminiscing the glorified past

Oh and by the way, I loved reading this topic and to know all about uncles and auntys of this generation and the last 😆 😆

😆 Gel is the best invention for both generations... It gives the younger an inch or two in height and the (G)older best hair control for a combover from ear to ear....😉

This debate starts with the likely assumption that things are on the path of degenerative degradation...... Even religions indicate there is going to be an apocalypse... and world will end or kalyug and the world will end... So, yes the debates make sense if people can listen to whoever starts with "In our times..." they have a slight edge over the current time is most if not all the cases....😊
