Yeah, possibly but i think if that happens you lose that advantage in terms of run scoring and the ecxcitment factor for fans. Captains will start expecting it.

If u r right Sur_Sangam and every1 will b playing them, do u think even more inventive shots will b found? What would they b?

Mayb the reverse pull ? does any1 play that? coz i can't think of any1, also it would b very dangerous too, u would probbaly get a couple of these . 😆 😆

What do u think?

Ha ha.. new shots..I am not expert but can imagine..Probably it will be like more sixes, trying to hit every possible ball out of the ground..use the bat as thaapi, baseball, tennis raquet..Probably people will not let the spinners spin the ball and will be more expert in using the feet and hitting the ball before it turns..

Ponting made a statement yesterday that smallll players like Tendulkar, lara and himself will soon be replaced by likes of Kevin peterson and Hayden..Players who will hit the ball before it turns, Players with lot of power..

In 10 years from now we may see 20 overs game's as the standard in cricket ..and one day game may be considered like test matches and test matches will become obsolete..

It is going to be a powerplay all the way😃😆

Yeah that comment from Hayden seems to make sense, but i really hope that doesn't. I think u still need those stroke-makers there instead of just power hitters.

I really hope what u, Sur_Sangam, just said doesn't happen. That would b aweful to just have 20/20 cricket. U take out all the skill of cricket. I like the way things r at the mo. U got the tests for the real cricket lovers, ODI for middle of the ground cricket lovers and some die-hard fans and 20/20 for people who just like seeing a ball get hit out of the park 😆 .

No but seriously, if we have just 20/20, u will lose the whole art of bowling, coz no1 will wanna bowl as they know they r just gonna get hit. Also u include too much luck in the game instead of skill and talent.

I just couldn't believe how well he hit that shot, its so difficult. I tired it in the nets yesterday, but it was so hard. LOL

Yeah and the only reason he got out was because he hot it too well, lol, and it carried to the fine leg.

I totally agree with you..That stroke looks so difficult to play....He plays that shot against fast bowlers👏
