Changing strokes in cricket: Who excels?

Do you see Cricketers hitting ball like they were playing baseball, tennis etc etc.. There are so many unorthodox strokes now..The name of the game is runs and you may get it by any kind of shot.. Reverse sweep is becoming a standard stroke. Players are hitting good length balls for sixes..You think old cricketers can survive today..Which team you think is playing the most unorthodox strokes? Which player is playing the most unorthodox game?But still cricketers playing the classical game with few unorthodox strokes are very successful.. Now they are going towards 20/20 games.. How u think it is going to affect the game..How u feel overall about the changing strokes in the game.😃

However, the yongesters of the game are trying to play them and getting caught or bowled or whatever, but end result losing their wicket. Its all very well for people to try but u need to have a good graps of thebasics of batting to pull the shots off. And even then u need to b immensely talented. Which is y only the best batsman play them.

Another downside to this, is that u increase ur chance of getting out, look @ Sehwag. Yes he can hit 6's over cover, but what use is that if he is in the pavialion. You need to b able to play both types of cricket Orthadox and Unorthadox, if u wanna succed at the highest level.

The unorthadox should b used as a trick shit, a sort of advantage against the bowler, NOT the norm.

Sorry to put a dampener on all ur liking of the unorthadox, don't get me wrong, i love to c the reverse sweeps go for 4 and the 'scoop' for 4, but i think we need to remember how to play 'straight' too.
