What if Breaking Bad had an Indian remake? Who would play Indian versions of who? I'd want...

Shahrukh Khan or Ajay Devgn- Walter White

Ranveer Singh- Jesse Pinkman

Kajol - Skyler White

Govinda- Hank Schrader

Lara Dutta - Marie Schrader

Irrfan Khan - Gustavo Fring

I'd much rather see him as Gus... aka the show's most INTERESTING character... and btw SRK isn't as bad of an actor as most of this forum thinks. Give him a good script and a good role and he'll put on one hell of a performance. Watch Chak De India or Swades and tell me otherwise...

No as in India can't do it 😆 That show was a milestone in America, and even Vince Gilligan will have to outdo himself to ever do anything better than it. So it's a HUGE stretch to imagine any other version of it really...

As for your casting choices...SRK as Mr. White is hilarious, we'd be making a spoof! 😆 If you insist, then going more indie would be better to give off the feel of Westerns that the show embodies...actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rajkumar Yadav...Nimrat Kaur could play Skyler (she'd fit the control freak-ishness)...Irfan Khan, the kid from Udaan as Jesse, etc...they'd be much better than the mainstream actors.

LOL I wasn't joking... wow you guys really hate SRK as an actor huh... he could totally pull it off if he forgot about his image for once and truly acted... he has the potential...

I actually think SRK's a really great actor (Chake De/Swades, as you mentioned!) but even if he forgot his image...the audience wouldn't. It'd just be very difficult to take a casting like that seriously...in the context you've presented it...but if say, there was to be a script that (non-spoofily) dealt with drugs, or crimes of compulsion, etc. then why not, SRK could be among one of the great choices because he's not only good, but also believable with the anti-hero shtick (ex. Don). Even Ajay works well like that.

But you say Govinda as Schrader and then you say not joking...how is that possible, TM 😆
