First of all, thank you everyone for appreciating my first post 😊😊. So here I am, with my ramblings again.
Well almost all of us who have been loyally following SC since the beginning have expressed our anger and frustration at the way the serial has changed course in its one year running. Even though we got our biggest wish granted and our Samud got married amidst much celebration,it is also undeniable that the show has gone down several notches in every aspect . But no matter whatever changes happen, we all will loyally be present everyday to watch SC (even if to crib about it later) as long as Gautam & Jennifer breathe life into our Samud. That's how addicted we all are.
But each time I rewatch the first phase of SC it strikes me as a completely different experience all together..nothing short of poetical. It was a painting on canvas...a puzzle that gives more clues each time we watch it. The subtle expressions,the untold feelings conveyed through gentle actions,eyes that spoke with each other,music that gave the feeling of a grand opera...ufff what a show it was.
Visually we can all agree that the sets of SC is one of the best that have ever been shown on Indian Television. But recently I have been missing the initial feeling the VC haveli evoked. As the number of families increased, all the different houses were built at the cost of altering the initial grandeur of the haveli.

I miss that colourful courtyard where Kumud danced forgetting herself,soaking in the rain of Saras's love. I mean the courtyard is still there but I liked those extra steps taken to show the occupation of VC and the effect it added. Also the women of the household getting together doing all the little things and talking about the house matters & the family dinner with dadaji at the head of the table...

Kumud singing Manmohana infront of the house temple will always be one of my favourite moments ever and their filmy handhold😊 Once the Dharmadikari clan came, this hall was also converted.

Yatinji will always remain the VC I like to remember. Honestly,the show has never been the same since he left. Sometimes I even think that Kumud wouldn't have suffered so much if he continued to be VC. I know,silly me. But just look at them. He was on another level altogether.

And of course how can I forget Sunny...sigh
Maybe we will never be able to figure out what is going on in the minds of CV's but one thing is for sure...the magic that SC has cast on us will never break easily. No matter what crap they dish out, we will be here. After all this was a superb show to begin with... If only it stayed the same.
