They did this may be because they wanted to save the reputation of Ambika and Ambalika.😈

good they dint show.. and the way Satya explained was also something that would sound like Vyas will do some magic if we dont know what happened in real.. but later Pandu explains to Kunti like actual.. may be by that time A&A were old so no reputation issue 😆

well i guess in this serial the reason why draupadi agrees to marry 5 pandavas is becuase she doesnt want any one to take sanyas becuase of her hence she suggests it on her own.although i do agree that including shiv ji's boon in this decision would have made a lot more sense
regarding epic's draupadi and her silence i dont know women of that era werent so outspoken they did what they were told to do and hence draupadi's silence does make some sense i mean that is why draupadi's outrage towards her husbands and elders during the sabha is a WOW moment in the epic because generally women of that era werent so outspoken

@bold:

agreed that women of that era did meekly what they were told to do, but this is draupdi we are talking about. nothing about her is meek.
remember nobody would have rejected anyone in swayamwara so assertively and publicly like she did, they all would be silent like AA. even amba couldnt say it then and there in the hall.
as for the sabha, her outrage comes out even before the vastraharan incident when she flatly refuses to come even on orders from yudi. the servant is sent back to ask yudi whether he lost himself first or her? which woman of that era would have asked such a ques to her husband in a sabha of elders?
i am not saying that she did not agree with or obey her elders. of course she would have agreed to the arrangement on being told, but meekly agreeing without a single, token word of protest or questions doesnt fit with the fiery temperament of the draupadi shown in the rest of the epic. thats all.

😊

@Bhas:Yes i do agree with you.But the dice hall incident was the only incident where she had shown her outrage towards her husband's and elders other than that there is no incident in MB that shows her outrage towards them.Rejecting Karna is a separate issue becuase he was neither her husband nor her elder
I am not saying i dont agree with your or that Drauapdi was meek.I think Drauapdi was strong from Dwapar yug's perspective undoubtedly.And yes i do agree with you that its very possible that she did speak against marrying brother's but it was just ommitted for the very reasons you gave it is very possible and i do agree with it
But on the other hand is it completley impossible that she kept quiet .i would say no i dont think its impossible keeping in mind how women were then.i mean few days ago in the forum only some one posted Drauapdi's conversation with satyabhama after reading that conversation she doesnt come out as a person who was always outspoken or who always spoke her mind she seems like women in Dwapar yug were(let me see if i can post it here).What sets her apart is how she dealt with the dice hall incident,the questins she raised and hiw she even handled her humiliation with utmost grace that is what sets her apart and like i said it was unusal for a woman to say so much to her husbands and elders in that yug hence that moment comes as a WOW moment
To summarize i do agree with you as well completly what you said is also possible i agree with your reasons but what the epic says regarding Drauapdi's silence is also possible.What happened truly no one knows
