Zaya Drabble: Honeymoon Days- Day 9

Zain and Aliya were out on a date. Well, date wouldn't be the proper word, it was more like they were hanging out. But, they are married. So hanging out wouldn't be right either. For lack of a better word, they had gone out.

Instead of going out of their way, Zain and Aliya had decided to roam around in their vicinity. After having breakfast at a small coffee shop, they decided to saunter some more in search of shops. Having come across a park, they went in and to fulfill the child within, they both went on the swings, the slides and had a huge laugh when Aliya fell off the see-saw.

Aliya spotted an ice-cream stall as they were strolling through the park, talking randomly. She took a chocolate ice-cream while he had a butterscotch cup. Zain who had finished first kept trying to have Aliya's ice cream which she smartly avoided.

By the time she was done, Aliya's lower face was covered in chocolate ice cream.

Zain tenderly wiped the ice-cream from her chin and nose and they looked into each other's eye, each mirroring the other's image. They stayed there for some time until a small kid came by and started laughing.
