Hi everyoneš
I have been an ardent follower of SC from day one and it was only natural that I chanced upon this wonderful forum during my search for finding anything and everything about our favourite show. Nowadays even before catching up with the episode, I visit indiaforums to read all the amazing (and often more interesting than the episodes itself) views and comments and I feel that I know all of you already. So here I am finally taking the plunge and sharing my humble views and hoping that I will be a part of the growing brigade here š
Well now that the grand wedding is over and the cv's poured ice cold water over our hopes of an intense SRš¤¢ , I feel that everything would have been much much better if there was just one episode that happened before the revenge track express took off from the station. I would like to call it the episode that was to be. So presenting my version of the Monday epi .
The episode starts with Samud laughing over their role play.
Saras : Why did u lie that there is no Kumud Desai here?
Kumud: I didn't lie...there is no Kumud Desai here. Saras looks at her with puzzled expression. "there is only Kumud Saraswatichandra here" Kumud said with a little smile playing on her lips. Saras's smile slowly turns into an intense gaze as he soaks in the feeling of hearing their names together from kumud's lips. He turns and sits infront of kumud and taking her hands in his and staring into her eyes repeats her words "Kumud Saraswatichandra" Their dream has finally materialised into solid reality. All those yearnings, pining for each other not knowing whether they will ever be able to call each other their own in front of the whole society , all the uncertainities ,all of them have vanished leaving nothing but serenity, peace and utter joy in their minds. They don't need words, their eyes speak for themselves.
Slowly and tenderly Saras caresses her face lingering for a bit longer as if touching her for the first time. Kumud closes her eyes savouring his touch,not wanting his fingers to stop. ( The music of kuch na kahe plays in the background minus the lyrics , after all it is their anthem š ) Kumuds rising heartbeats betrays her calm exterior. Saras s passionate eyes keeps on drinking in the beauty of his shy bride,she belongs to him and he is hers forever. Nothing else matters..not the time,the venue nothing. They are alone in the world and the night is theirs. Slowly cupping her face in his hands,with a myriad of untold expressions in his eyes, saras places a gentle kiss on her forehead. And as if waiting for this cue our sundari melts in his hands and they embrace each other in a bear tight hug. ( Well keeping the time zone and star plus's high end ethics, we can't expect more. So the camera pans out behind the white curtains jodha akbar style leaving the rest to our imaginationš)
Then the regular morning montage of sc letting us know that the epic night is over.
But instead of the Desai haveli the scene takes us back to the garment factory. A ray of sunlight falls upon the serene face of a sleeping saras. He blinks and opens his eyes. Then as he turns his head we get a beautiful vision of his peacefully sleeping wife with her head on his arms and her hair fanning out behind her. Saras looks at her . This is the first morning of their new life, first morning of their togetherness in every sense. He has never felt this peaceful,this happy in his whole life. Finally he is home. He wouldn't mind looking at his lovely wife sleeping forever. But they have to get back before Danny & Kusum finds out they are not there. He reaches out and gently tucks in a stray hair that had fallen on her cheeks behind her ears. And at his touch Kumud opens her eyes. She looks around in confusion for a second and then the memories of last night comes flooding back in. She turns her head and sure enough, there he is staring intently at her. She is not sure whether she can take in the intensity of his gaze. He is her Saras,but everything is so different today. The morning was never this beautiful before and she is not the same kumud anymore. She is a wife now,his wife...she belongs to him. Still feeling his gaze, she averts her eyes and quickly questions " Why didn't you wake me up?" "Because I was watching my beautiful wife sleeping and I didn't want to break her dreams" Hearing saras's answer she looked at him and saw him smiling with his heart. And it was to this vision that she was going to wake up for the rest of her life. Her life has become complete. The happiness brimming in her heart radiated to her face and they looked at each other savouring the new morning.Well as the post is already too long, I will post the second part of the epi if everyone likes this.
