Does Shuddhi have the same hype w/o Hrithik & Kareena?

Both leads have opted out.

Kareena and Hrithik Roshan are no longer in Shuddhi and supposedly they're looking at Deepika & Ranveer Singh.

Do you think the film has the same hype on it's own merit or was the hype created around the lead pair?

Nope just shelve the film ... but feel bad for Karan Malhotra its his dream project ... hmph it all depends on KJO, maybe they can downsize the budget and get new actors in ...

No one ever cared about this movie until HR-Bebo got confirmed.
Their pairing was what made this movie seem grand..

I was looking forward to seeing HR-Bebo
I was even going to catch the first day first show and drive to the nearest theatres that plays Bollywood movies, which is 2 hours away!!

I'm not gonna watch it now..
I've lost all interest..

It doesn't matter tbh..If its a good film, Ranveer-DP or Ranbir-DP or Ranbir-Kat or Ranveer-Katrina are capable enough to make it a blockbuster😆 But it just doesn't matter for me atleast cos i was really really looking forward to see HR-Bebo together in this film I may sound like a delusional fan but am 100% sure these two would have nailed the roles🥺 Sigh, i guess i'l just keep whining till i get over it😆

P.S. Am not a HR fan but he plays historical characters like no other.Both Ranbir and Ranveer are really good actors but there is no way they can match up to HR in this department..

ranveer has said he has not been approached for it, and whenever deepika has been asked she has always denied it. Who knows what is going on with this film, it may end up being shelved. But like rogerrocks said if its good movie then any pairing with good chemistry shud make the movie work

But I was really looking forward to see HR and bebp again.

This movie is probably going to be shelved for good. The project was written with Hrithik in my mind. No other hero has that kind of physicality or stardom to carry such a huge movie on his shoulders. If people think KJo is going to plonk 150 crores on Ranveer, whom he treats with as much disdain as is legally allowed, I have nothing else to say. 😆

You are grossly underestimating KJo here😆 He never mixes his personal and professional life😆He treats Kareena as his 'sister' but supposedly signed a 3 film deal with DP😆 He loves Alia and promotes her everywhere but is most probably casting Parineeti in his directorial opposite Ranbir😆So yeah, doesn't matter if he hates Ranveer with a passion..He wont think twice before casting him if he believes its profitable😆

P.S. On that note, as i mentioned earlier, i cant imagine any actor playing historical characters the way HR does..He not only looks the part but is also talented enough to nail the character..So yeah, no Ranbir or Ranveer or SidM can come close in this regard..

i don't know , ek brilliant trailer hype phirse create kar sakta hai , but honestly i think they should leave this project for sometime , i'm not HR or KKK fan but like other people even i was happy when i came to know about them , cause i remember when i was a child, main yeh sochti ti ke yeh dono husband wife hai , always together rehte hai , and so many films, so after 10 years i was really excited to see them again , but anyway ab kya karna soch ke ,

about shuddi Karan johar should think again, cause yeh project HR and KKK ke liye tah , aade mare huwe dil se film start karoge toh ending bhi mari huwi hogi , i mean never do something what you don't want do , joh cheez dilse na ki jaye usse na hi karo toh better hai, if they feel ke koi aur actors role me fit nahi hote toh na benaya acha hai , or leave the project for 1/2 years jab tak right actors mil jaye

ps - i'm big Ranveer fan but i don't want to see him in such a movie where people took him in haste
