Recently, she created a storm in Karan Johar's coffee mug on the sets of Koffee with Karan, when she admitted to having taken collagen injections to get a pouty pucker a la Jennifer Lopez. When asked about her confession, the motormouth item girl says, "So many actresses have gotten more things done than lip jobs. I have no qualms about being honest about mine." Amen to that! You confessed to Karan about getting a lip job done? Yes, I have. What's wrong with that? He asked me if I had got anything done on my body. Since I had decided to be honest, I told him that I recently underwent a treatment for my lips. It's not a big deal. I know actresses who have got their entire bodies done up. Everyone wants to look glamorous, because nothing sells better than beauty.
I told Karan that before I became an item girl, I looked uglier than Jassi on her TV show. It's only now, after my hardcore exercise routine and diet, I have got the results I wanted. I always wanted to have pouty lips like JLo, so I decided to go ahead with the treatment. When did you get it done? I got it after I came out of Bigg Boss. During my stay in the house, a lot of the girls would discuss various things and one of them told me about this specific treatment that would enhance one's lips. Immediately after leaving the show, I went to the concerned doctor and got it done. Tell us about the experience. Firstly, it's not surgery. It takes around an hour to do. An injection is used to fill collagen into your lips. It's quite painful though and very expensive. One injection costs anywhere between Rs 60-80,000. Also, the effect of the treatment lasts only a couple of months. After that your lips come back to the original shape and size. How did Karan react to your confession? He was shocked! But I said God hasn't made everyone equally beautiful, so if someone wants to look pretty, what's the harm in getting treatment? I know of lot of housewives who go for such expensive treatments too. Would you go for surgery to enhance other assets in the future? Never! I have seen certain actresses looking very scary after their operations, so I would never want to enhance any other part of my body. I am quite happy now with the way God has made me. Also, these treatments are really expensive and I wouldn't want to spend most of my hard-earned money on them. |
