The episode starts with Zain and Osmaan, taking a leisurely stroll by the sea side. Zain apologises to Osmaan about his behaviour, for the previous night. Osmaan is happy that Zain has realised his mistake. Zain confesses that he is unhappy with his marriage and questions Osmaan, as to why he took such a decision. Osmaan reminds Zain of his childhood, wherein he was sent to a boarding school, against his wishes but despite that, had come out with shining colours and a lot of confidence. Zain agrees. Osmaan however confesses, that his decision of sending Zain to London, was probably wrong, to which Zain replies, that he infact had the best time of his life in London and that, Osmaan's decisions were never wrong for him.
Osmaan asks Zain to trust him again, when it comes to Aaliya. He tries to make Zain realise, that Aaliya is a beautiful girl inside and out. He requests Zain to give her a chance and start their married life, afresh. Osmaan walks away. Zain thinks to himself, that both Aaliya and him, are going to stay by each other's side for another month, after which he promises , that he will prove Osmaan wrong and make him realise, of how wrong his decision was, this time around.
Back in Barkat villa, Osmaan and Zain spot Aaliya. ZaYa share a small, angry eyelock and Zain walks away. Aaliya talks to Osmaan and assures him that, she is okay despite whatever happened the previous night. She requests Osmaan not to worry about her and that she will not let, Shabana, his and Ghulam's trust on the marriage and her, down. Osmaan is relieved and leaves.
In Bhopal, Shabana talks to a travel agent, to book her a flight ticket to Mumbai and is worried about the expenses, but goes ahead, nevertheless. Ayat spots her and tries to question her about Aaliya. A much tensed Shabana tells her off and asks Ayat to, get her a trunk. Ayat is surprised and questions Shabana, if she's planning to go somewhere. Shabana tells Ayat to not nag her and leave her alone. Ayat is confused, but leaves.
Back in Barkat villa, Osmaan and Chand bibi enter ZaYa's room. They talk to Zain about an old Bhopali custom, wherein a newly wed couple, have to eat from the same plate. The custom is as such, where the husband has to only eat, what his wife eats and of the exact same quantity. Zain sees Aaliya bringing the food trolley inside their room and is shocked to spot a lot of green chillies on a plate. He stares at her, unable to believe. Aaliya gives him a wicked smirk.
Zain and Aaliya sit opposite each other. Osmaan and Chand bibi watch them, adoringly. Zain is strictly told not to eat anything else, but only the food from the tray, that Aaliya chooses to eat. Aaliya begins with Sheek kababs and paneer. Zain eats the same, staring at her and making an annoyed face.(Zain was adorable in this scene! lol) Aaliya finally pulls out a green chilli and Zain feels instantly threatened by the look of it. He tells Osmaan that he's never eaten chillies in his childhood and doesn't want to, now either. Osmaan tells Zain, that he wasn't married when he was a child either. He encourages Zain to take it up. Zain makes a face and finally bites into a chilli. Aaliya looks very relaxed, as she eats it and continues to teasingly look at Zain, whereas Zain begins to feel the heat and starts huffing and puffing and moving his hands in the air.(lol) Aaliya is having a lot of fun as she watches Zain and he stares at her, annoyed. Osmaan and Chand bibi laugh as they leave the room.
Zain tries to cheat and get something sweet to eat, but Aaliya threatens him, that she'll call Osmaan back again. Zain gives up and continues following her and eats more chillies, unwillingly. Aaliya is finally done and they stop. Zain questions her, on who was the one, to have conceived such a stupid custom back in the old days. She says she made it up, just five minutes ago, infront of Osmaan.😆 (to extract her revenge from him) Zain is both shocked and amused. He promises that he'll get back at her for this and leaves. Just after Zain leaves, the confident look on Aaliya's face drops and it is revealed that, she feels the heat from the chillies as much as Zain did. But was only wanting to give him a hard time, for what he did to her. She quickly gulps down a lot of water.
Zain gets a call from Shabana, who sounds very emotionally disturbed. She questions Zain, if he really wants to divorce Aaliya. Zain is shocked. He complains to Shabana, that he is a very independent, free willed person. But eversince, Aaliya has entered his life, she's made it all topsy-turvy for him and tries to control things as much. A heartbroken Shabana listens to him. He tells her that Aaliya has become, all the more stubborn and is a pain in his back, more than she ever was, all their childhood put together. Shabana asks him, if this is the sole reason he wants to divorce her for. Zain finally laughs and tries to calm her down, saying he never said, he wants a divorce. He assures her that, he'll not leave Aaliya that easily ("Zain Abdullah itni asaani se aapki beti ko nahi chodega").😳 He continues saying, now that Aaliya has married him, she needs to as well, bear the brunt of having him as her husband. He makes the situation light and makes his Phuphi, feel mightily relieved and gets her to laugh as well.
Shabana confirms once again, if he is really not going to divorce Aaliya, since Suriya had mentioned about it. Zain is shocked that Suriya spoke to Shabana regarding it. He assures her again and they cheerfully hang up. Zain goes to Suriya and confronts her, regarding the same. He expresses his discontentment on Suriya's act of trying to scare Shabana. He mentions, that she shouldn't have mentioned about the divorce to Shabana and that, it was wrong of her to do so. Suriya expresses her discontentment on Shabana's disclosure of the same and alerts Zain, accusing Shabana of emotionally blackmailing Osmaan and him. Zain politely tells her off & asks her to not to interfere and to allow him, to handle his matters, himself. Zain leaves, leaving an anxious Suriya behind.
In ZaYa's room, Aaliya is seated on the bed. Zain walks in & sits across her on the couch & munches into a chocolate bar. He throws her a bar as well, asking her to reduce the heat that might be burning her tongue. She throws it back saying it's important to be a little spicy with some people, on some occasions. He then, throws her a box of tissues, saying she'll need this soon, in the future again. Aaliya throws it back saying, he'll be the one needing it, from now on. He finally throws across a red saree, saying it's from Osmaan and that her maamu wants her to wear it and come down, to the hall.
Aaliya throws it back and mocks Zain saying, she knows what he's trying to do. She tell him that her maamu, will never gift her a saree as bad looking as that. She is sure that it's from Zain and that he is trying to get back at her, for the fake ritual, she brought up. Zain is surprised that she didn't like the saree. He warns her again, to just wear it on and come down. Just as he is about to walk away, Aaliya throws it back, aiming the saree at his face. Zain ducks, just in time and it lands up hitting Osmaan, who just enters. Aaliya is shocked.
Osmaan asks her, if she didn't like the Saree. Aaliya is embarrassed and immediately apologises, taking it back from him. Zain finds the situation funny and tries to complain to Osmaan, about how Aaliya ridiculed the same. Aaliya is very embarrassed by now but manages to cut Zain off and thanks Osmaan for the saree. Osmaan smiles and leaves. Zain cracks up. Aaliya is still as embarrassed and Zain continues laughing. He tells her, that she is not as smart, as she thinks she is and that, he ain't as stupid, as she thinks he is. Zain tries to pull the saree away from Aaliya's hand. Aaliya rebels and tries pulling it back. He says, he won't let her wear the saree now and she says, she will.
Both of them pull the saree towards each other. Meanwhile, in the process, Aaliya trips, and falls on the bed and so does Zain, who falls on top of her. They're faces are just an inch apart, which makes Aaliya feel both shy and uncomfortable, as he is just above her. She does not look him in the eye and nervously clutches the blanket, while Zain stares at her, piercingly (and if I may say so, a little angrily too). Zain tries getting up but falls again, and tries balancing just enough, not to collide with her. Aaliya finally turns her face, to look at him and the episode ends, with ZaYa sharing an eye lock.😳
Precap - Zain is bringing a group of friends, into his room with a basketball in his hand. Aaliya is shown decorating it and putting up a lot of their pictures from the day, of their Nikaah. Zain enters and is shocked to see the room, transformed. He drops the basketball. Aaliya once again, give him her wicked smirk.
