Eternal Love Story
A fleeting look,
A sly glance,
That's all it took to sweep her off her feet.
A chilling smile,
A chorus of "meows",
Was all it took for him to get down on one knee.
Their love was forbidden,
Their love was mocked.
But they fought on,
Refusing to be overridden.
The words of a jealous wife,
The pain of finding a long lost daughter.
It was all piercing their hearts with a knife,
But all this pain they drown with sugar water.
Laughed at, they were,
Ridiculed they were,
But their love gave them strength,
When they held each other at arm's length.
Their love was pure,
Their love was divine,

And left them feeling like they were on cloud nine,
Thus this is the love story,
That brought them so much glory.
Forever they shall be remembered,
