my humble interpretation is
in the first, the junoon of the journey ahead has made the traveller lose his way back home
in the second couplet , he has been injured intentionally by the cruel words of someone he calls his saviour
in the third , he could sleep only when the poison in his heart poured out of his eyes as tears
and lastly he says Majno whom the world now proclaims as an example ,was once a lover like him who left his home in search of love
