thts not true. plagirism is only comitted if the person copies a text/idea from another author WITHOUT giving credit. if lakshmin quotes the lines from Prithviraj Raso, and refers to the authoer in some way {i.e. by writing- Written by [AUTHOR NAME]), the copyright of the text is not being violated.
However since the text needs to be translated, she can paraphrase them and if she gives reference to the author at the end, its completely legal. trust me.
