KO's claim to fame???

After watching all the hype surrounding KO's "grand entry" in Antakshari this week, I'm wondering just what exactly he has done that makes him such a big name. 🤔

Is it because of JJKN? That was the first time i heard the name Karan Oberoi 😆 .... I knew about the Band of Boys as a bunch of tuneless drifters 😈but the only one i somewhat recognised was Sudhanshu Pandey. So did Raghav, KMH that he was 😡, give KO a much-needed career boost?

Or it more because he is seen everywhere these days with the famous Jassi? 😕 After all, Dino Morea and Randeep Hooda were also known more for their famous girlfriends than for their acting skills. And that article i recently posted also described him as being "better known as Mona's chweet chweet beau".😆 So is being Mona Singh's boyfriend's Ko's sole claim to fame? 🤔

I liked Karan Oberoi in Saaya and Milan too. In JJkn he was appeared for one episode in Mauritius...during the makeover as Karan himself the singer.

But after that he totally disappeared. His Band is neither popular or great...

So I think his being seen everywhere with Soni KUDI Mona is what works for him.

I think so too, I had seen him in a band of boy's music video before he came in JJKN and I had no clue who he was before he started acting as Raghav. I think it was JJKN and being with Mona which made him "famous"😆

Yeah I agree also. As for me, I had never even heard of KO before JJKN and maybe this was the case for some others too? 😕

I think Mona is lucky for KO since he got role in JJKN, celebrity Girl friend and all the name and fame just by accompanying Mona everywhere and now finally as kids favourite BHAIYA in Antakshari . Isse kahte hai," Bhagwan jab daitta hai to CCHAPPAR phaad kar daitta hai."😆

I agree with Madhu, I also liked him in Saaya and Milan!!! 😳

I did not even know that he acted in other serials too..thanks Madhu for the info. He has very strategically placed himself in the same frame as Mona and that has worked in his favor. Everybody knows him now as Mona's boyfriend and soon be hubby.
