Ok before I proceed..I've left any intelligence, maturity or humour outside as I've delved into this one - its purely lashy the fangurl who's penned this one down...😆
OMG! Was I happy or what?
JODHA'S HOJRA
How many likes for the two seconds of initial awkwardness just before they started speaking to each other!
For that sweet princess-like posture that she sat in -with her knees huddled inside her arms on her majestic bed
That, while he sat opposite her - his pose depicted both grandeur and warmth at the same time!
'Aren't you even a little worried about consequences... you knew the bowl had poison in it, didn't you?' he asks with concern
'Well, nothing happened to you, right? That's enough for me!' she replies with conviction
How many likes for Jodha's light-hearted taunt of Jalal about having warned him of Benazir and yet him not heeding her words? For Jalal's light-hearted reminders of how it was very difficult to understand what went on in her mind (albeit the shove night)
'What if it was all a farce because you were jealous of her?' (I think he truly truly cannot get over this incident till the letter fiasco actually unfolds - he's forgiven her, but not forgotten about it still!)
'Tell me then' Jalal enquires 'Why did you save my life?'
'Why don't you tell me' she asks coyly - glancing downwards and at him simultaneously
'Because...because...because...because..' and a few more becauses later, he stammers 'Possibly because there might be some space for me in your heart!'
'Why did you dislike Benazir...' he asks then'You disliked her even before you knew she was a Vishkanya!'
'Er...er...er...' Jodha stutters for a good while, before giving an answer that leaves both pretty embarrassed 'She wore such strange clothes in front of another's husband!'
While I was left chuckling at the weirdly cute answer, Jalal and Jodha were left looking at the ceiling, the floor and the walls for a good while!😆
How many likes for the returning jealousy on her face as Jalal mentioned that Benazir was one of the most beautiful women around. (Looks like he's never going to give up till she accepts she's jealous - both these egoistic hot-headed leads make the visuals such a delight😛!)
And for all those sweet sweet sweet pals of mine who feared their romance might become mushy...for all of you who feared Jalal might lose his charm, his suave manner, his masculine appeal - couldn't have been proved more wrong in the next scene - with that follow-up grin!
What was THAT! That devilish uber-naughty long tease-of-a-smile as he mentioned 'No...Benazir would not have bitten me, because there is only one woman capable of doing so - my Rajvanshi Begum!' (Apart from the nearly-sensual digs this couple were making at each other) the wickedly flirtatious nature with which Jalal gazes on for a whole minute, till the flabbergasted Jodha looks up in abashment - was nothing short of a treat.
And then, how else to finish this delightful scene off, but with an amused round of laughter!
Obviously, no sooner than I barely recovered from the scene above - were we treated to another round -
'I'm stubborn because I'm a Rajvanshi...besides, I've become fed up of listening to the praises of a Vishkanya..so I NEED to step out..you're my husband right, can't you do this much for me?' (Go Jodha!😆)
All of that followed by that near fall of hers, that awkward catch of his, his tender guiding of hers into the open spaces - what's to say!😛
THE GARDEN
They've spent many-a-moment in the garden as friends before - they've never been at loss for words before. Yet, today this awkwardness hinted of something more - far more!😳
What a symbolic sight as they both warmed their hands on that cauldron of fire as 'Ishq mein woh ehsaas' played in the background?
And still, the first topic she opened up with that of Benazir😆
'I think you've fallen in love with her' Jalal teases his Begum (just as I laugh at my screen) before he admits once again that 'Yes Benazir was really beautiful' (Sigh! Enough with the facade Jalal😛!)
'If only, you'd told me once that I was more beautiful than Benazir!' she thought
'If only, you'd let me say what I had to say...if only, you'd never left a void so large in my heart that...forget, Benazir...NONE else could have taken place! If only...' (What charming words!)
Once again, we are in for a round of teasing gazes from him and coy gazes from her - something well and truly capable of swaying us along with Jalal and Jodha in this beautiful journey of love!
MY TAKE -
It is obvious from their expressions that Jodha is still enjoying the feeling of falling in love AND the attention she is receiving from him, both!
Jalal, however - is still reeling from his hurt. He is eternally grateful for what she'd done for him and he trusts her immensely. He is totally in love too - but, he is terribly guarded now. He wants her to explain the MU caused by that night and till that is done - these two cannot proceed forward wholeheartedly!
As for their egos, both are going to keep pulling at it - waiting for the other to open their heart out. Lets see who does so first!
In the course of it all, Jodha and Jalal - please keep doing what you both do best - Just keep flirting with each other! We'll be happy!😆
