I've noticed that we have a good number of fabulous writers on this forum.
Whether it's unique takes on the episode ( Shout out to eveline, tvbug2011, MoronsKiMallika, i love reading your posts😃), or the hilarious "reading between the lines" posts ( SJ sa, khamba ghani, we haven't interacted, please accept my humble salutations😆), well written posts are always a pleasure to read.
To the fanfiction writers: You guys do a wonderful job⭐️. Weaving words out of imagination is a tough job and you have all my respect for taking the time and patience to bring your work to life
To the silent readers and budding writes: Hello guys! Can you be tempted to put pen to paper? You never know what masterpiece you can create
To anyone of the above who is reading this, i have a proposition to make.
What do you guys think of Writing challenges? They can come in all forms.
One word challenges where the author has to incorporate the "challenge word" into the fic, like say, waiting, borrow, etc.
Prompts where anyone can suggest a scene or plot that they wish to see in an OS. The writers can see what tickles their imagination and run with it.
I find that writing challenges are a nice way to get creative and jump start the writing process, especially when faced with writers block. Maybe even tempt the non fiction writers to give us some of their fabulous work? 😊
I haven't fleshed this idea out completely. I thought we could see how many people are interested and then go from there.
Thoughts? Opinions?
PS: I am in no way trying to belittle any of the writers on this forum, the writers i mentioned above are just some of the names that popped into my head. I've been on this forum 2 weeks tops, My apologies to anyone who feels i was out of line
