All through the episode I felt this thing in my zehen😉, so want to let it out now so that my entire review is not filled with it. It was just too filmy and melodramatic. Yes, like everyone else I wanted the two to realize their love and confess it as well. But, when it happened I was not sure if I am going to be enjoying their kind of love story in the future. I wanted some more of their nok zhoks, some nakhras from Jodha, some flirtiness from Jalal. It looks like they are already in the extreme laila majnu phase, too fast for me! Phew, feel better now that it is out of my chest.
I have been enjoying the positivity in recent episodes as we all know it is not going to last long. Inspite of Shaguni bai, soul talk and many more indications from CVs - its a matter of time before the next MU track starts. So, I was happy that only Hamida saw Jalal praying in front of Kanha. I went back to the day when MA had read Jodha's letter to Jalal. After that we saw Jalal confessing his love to Jodha in his own unique style. Yes, this dude had being denying the existence of a heart. He did not even know that the chest pains were actually his heart beats. If not for that letter, would Jalal have ever considered confessing his love? We all know the answer to that. The multiple layers of ego were there, that refused to accept that he had a heart and that it was beating for Jodha of all people. On top of it he was the king of kings who had fallen in love with a woman who had hated him with all her heart. His layers of ego refused to let him realize his love, forget confession of his love. But, the layers of ego vanished quickly after he came to know about Jodha's feeling. Inspite of that, Jalal is still not sure at all about Jodha's love and hence we saw a very doubtful hesistant vulnerable Jalal reaching out to Jodha that night. The moment Jodha shoves him, the ego is back with even more layers. The point I am trying to make is that the first confession (thanks Gayatri for reminding me) happened only when Jalal was sure about Jodha's feeling. His ego was still there. Today, what we saw was a man who has understood that he cannot live without Jodha. His ego is dissolved and so are his expectations. Jalal is at this beautiful selfless love stage, where anger will not be felt if Jodha does not reciprocates his feelings.
Jodha went through a similar phase as well. We saw her self-righteousness, extreme hatred, stubbornness and what not in dealing with Jalal. She had layers of Ameri/raajvanshi/roopvati/gunwati ego. Jalal the person helped her come out of those layers of ego by his goodness and support. Its only after the pregnancy track that we see Jodha take many insults and yet not get mad at Jalal. This happened only because there was no more ego, it had dissolved for the one that she had started to love. I recall the scene where Jodha went to return the gift to Jalal after royally being insulted in DEK (kicked out). The Jodha with many layers of Ego would have never done that, neither would she have persisted in saving a Jalal who refused to believe her. Finally we see both Jodha and Jalal at a stage where they can keep the ego at side for each other, because to them their love and safety for each other is more important.
Even though very filmy, the episode today showed the desperation in Jalal for wanting his Jodha back. We did see this kind of desperation in Jodha when Jalal was attacked by the tiger. First the hakim says Jodha needs dua more than dawa. Seriously hakim sahiba, the same old gisa pita filmy dialog? Jalal request everyone in the empire to pray for Jodha, so sweet or extra sweet😉! Then, the hakim sahiba changes the theory that its Jodha not wanting to live at all. This gives Jalal the understanding that the Ameri nakhra and zidd of Jodha are still there. I loved his 'taqliya' and specially the second one that was said with so much command to Ruqu. If this dude wants, he can melt any woman in seconds. Jodha kis kheth ki muli hai? He warns Jodha that this time her stuborness is not going to be accepted. Jalal confesses his love to Jodha who hears it at subconcious level. I loved PS expressions at that time, there was this small smile of victory on her face when Jalal admits that he has a heart that beats for her. Seriously dude, even at this time you do not forget the 'shenshah ka hukum' dialog? You know your Ameri mirchi does not follow any rules, she did not follow that rule even when you gave it before her suicide attempt. Jodha even at that life/death stage gives all the dialogs of kartavya, vachan, but not prem? Jalal is desperate, he tries everything to make sure that she does not leave him. It is very touching that Jalal basically did everything that hakim sahiba requested. The reason being he wanted his Jodha back at any cost, it did not matter to him what the way was. Jodha apni maha ziddi ladki comes back ONLY when Jalal informs her that he would not live without her. That he would get her out of there by fighting with bhagya. Immediately after that, in a very filmy style Jodha's hand shake and eyes start flickering.

- It was so good to see that initial scene where the old Jalal and Jodha are fighting, I miss those days.😆
- Shaguni bai knows that Jodha's life is in danger, but does not know if she will make it. How conveniently CVs let her know some parts and hide others.
- Ruqu not wanting Jodha to die, its good that CVs have kept her away from evilness as I can't imagine my Jalal loving an evil person. Its a different story that he still love his badi ammi MA.😉
