my question is why is he there in the first place to interfere in his friend's honeymoon? he knows his friend very well. He should have made some excuse and should have avoided to go with them.

he is not interfering in between ...he is just protecting urmi from sanrat s insult ...and trying to stop samrat and also he said to samrat "earlier that you will go to jammu and kashmir and i will go to goa to complete some work of my dad and then i go back to america where i live .."but as samrat is fond of goa girls he tells him that he will also go to goa to accompany him with urmi as their honeymoon destination will be goa..😛
