Today's Take - Farewell Red Lehnga

PaRud scene of the day ... Paro continues to hold her own, Rudra still smarting in defeat, can't help taunting her about her decision to return and her challenge ... and she stays calm and stoic, despite her still visible trepidation. And that refusal to be scared of him, that annoys Rudra the most ... she should be scared of him, he's trying his best that she be scared of him, how is she holding up against him?!
I like the way Paro stoically accepts her fate ... same room, okay ... can you give me some clothes please? And reminds him again that she is now a widow, thanks to him.
That always gets Rudra annoyed!
Rudra just cannot be his worst any more with Paro, despite trying very hard to be. 😳

Thakur tries his best to convince Thalurain that the news is false, Paro baisa is dead. Thakurain is not happy to be convinced. She wants Thakur to do something ... anything ... and get Paro back.
Thakur is going to be in a jam on this one. 😛

The sweetest scene of the day ... Ranawat Sr comes in coughing, looking for his pump, Paro finally changed, but still very unsure and selfconscious in the blue over-sized kurta and pants, rushes to find it and gives it to him. He recovers from his coughing fit, notices her changed attire for the first time, looks at it, she looks down ... he gives the most fleeting of smiles and tells her to sleep ... and leaves. Not a word about her change of clothes.
And that's all the reassurance she needs.
Beautifully played by both actors!!!! Am loving this bahu-sasurji pair!

Paro backs, trips and falls on her make-shift bed ... sees herself in the warped mirror ... and smiles. A genuine happy sweet smile ... for the first time in days, all is well, as well as it can possibly be under the circumstances ... Rudra is gone, her hands are no longer tied, she has a roof over her head, a bed to sleep in and clean clothes, a full stomach, no one yelling at her in anger, she even has a sympathiser, Rudra's babusa ... there is much to be thankful for. And she didn't get cowed down by Rudra ... she asked for what she wanted, and got it - fresh clothes. She's holding her own in the challenge.

One liner of the day - if you keep two melons together for so long, even they will manage to produce a baby melon ... Mohini kaaki's tongue is sharper than a knife! 😆

Mohini kaaki rues the fact that her older son is more like his father, despite all her attempts. And the taunts are about a lack of heir ... of course. Sumer is desperate to sell the haveli, and go to the big city.

Rudra is such an idiot ... he actually asks Laila for clothes for Paro?! Size difference nahin dekha?! 😲😆

But he has the makings of a good husband ... Paro asked him for clothes ... he immediately stomped off to get her some! 😆
Laila baisa is vamp ... bas! And a pretty vicious one at that. And she can't keep her hands off Rudra.

Loved the dilsher -rudra dynamics and the scene when he said " have you forgotton what you taught me abt women" and the pensive and sad look on dilsher's face ...

Yeah we saw the sexy thakursa tday 😆 ..how long will he keep misleading thakuriyan ...she is going to catch him sooner than later ...

The scene of the day ofcourse was the paro- rudra one. Ashish - sanaya chemistry is electric , it elevates the scene to a different level. He closes the door , she looks in fear ..he changes his clothes , she feels uncomfortable ...he dramatically unties her hands 😆 ...she asks him , they would sleep in the same room ..loved his lines " you are anyway going to hell ...might as well give you practice now ..." 😉

I keep thinking that this is how paro and rudra are when they despise each other , how would the scenes be when they feel some attraction 😳

The sweetest scene was when paro trips on the oversized clothes and sees her reflection on the mirror 😊 Sanaya looked like an absolute doll . The smile which dilsher gives her when he sees her in rudra's clothes was also so sweet. Parosa's sasur already takes her as his bahu 😆

My favourite chachisa ...her epic dialogues need a special post , the melon one was just toomuch 🤣 Like the way , they show the inherent decency in samrat and his wife...sumer is an absolute scoundrel...his mother's son , the kind who will hoodwink his mother too , to get what he wants ...

So rudra sa decides to ask laila for clothes , how enterprising 😆 Only men can be so thick. Didnot like ankita's dialogue delivery again today ...very forced 😕 I am beginning to feel that it will be very difficult for her to play a negative character ...I hope I am wrong .

So tmrw is the cute nanad's entry ...in the sbs segment today , she looked like a sweety ...more of chacha'ji's influence then chachi ...I guess one sumer is enough 😆

When I saw him in Laila's place my thought was for CLOTHES...& it was.

Laila's clothes will not fit Paro Major Saab... I thought you knew their ... ummm... dimensions😳

Good episode , Paro stood up to the major ... although her resolve was tested by him... she stuck to her decision of being strong ... Major showed his father how much he has affected his views of women... and Chachi stayed in character bashing everyone in the house..

Loved the little play that Paro had before that mirror... she was like a child!!

A scorned woman is very dangerous... so Rudra had better watch out for Laila... !!!

Chachi gets the best dialogs... that tharbooj/karbooj dialog was out of the world!!

That was my favorite scene too ... that and the Paro-Dilsher scene ... and the Paro-Rudra scene ... actually all the Paro scenes were very good! 😆

Am glad they toned down Laila ... but omg, Rudra actually asks her for clothes for another woman?! Men can be so dumb!!! 😆

Samrat is a decent guy, like his dad. Sumer is bad news ... even worse than his mom.

What is Thakur going to do? And is thakurain convinced?
