CHAPTER-10.

Veera had just got out of the bathroom wearing a maroon kurta and her favourite jeans when Gunjan almost jumped on her.

"You are ready!Come on let's go..But first.."

Veera was completely surprised by her act,as she watched her taking out a long scarf..

"Gunjan didi?What is this for..?!What are you doing..?!"She exclaimed out,as Ginjan turned her around and started tying the scarf on her eyes,covering it completely..

"Uff Veera!It's a surprise!And if you see the surprise,where will be the fun of it all..?!!So just keep quiet and bear with me..!Trust me you'll love it!"Gunjan chatted happily,as she tied the scarf tightly round her eyes,and also ensured properly that she really could not see anything..

"Gunjan didi!I can't see a thing!It's really weird.."She pleaded..

"Uff!That is why I tied the scarf crazy girl!So that you can't see!Now hold my hands and come with me.."

Veera stepped carefully holding onto Gunajn's hand tightly,scared least she would trip and fall.

Gunjan chattered away continuously about how pleased Veera would be on seeing her surprise..That she would be so pleased and keep thanking her Gunjan didi after it..

Veera smiled affectionately listening to her continuous merry chatter.Her worry of not seeing anything forgotten,as Gunjan led her downstairs and made her sit in the car..

She frowned..Was she sitting in Baldev's jeep?But at least she had Gunjan didi with her..

"Gunjan didi where is Veerji?"Veera asked worriedly.

"Ranvi?!He's here too!Ranvi answer your sister!"She urged him.

"Don't worry Veerakhdi..I'm here too!I'll be going-UFF!"He stopped in mid-sentence with an exclamation of pain.

"What happened Veerji?!Are you hurt?!"Veera asked in concern,almost getting down from the car,when Gunjan quickly stopped her.

"Nothing Veera..Ranvi just slipped,right Ranvi..?Tell her!"She urged.

"Veerakhdi I'm alright.Don't worry about me."Ranvi's soft voice calmed her and she relaxed back on the seat.

"But how will we reach there..?Who will drive..?"

"Your Veerji ofcourse!I sent my Veerji off in Ranvi's bike!"Gunjan said..So Veera let out a sigh of relief..She was free from Baldev,at least for now..

As Veera finally sat in a relaxed pose,there was one guy who smiled at his sister's antiques..

Gunjan had planned for a big surprise for Veera..So it all had to be hush hush for her..

The only people who knew about it was she and a handful few others.But to Baldev's extreme irritation he was not one of them..

But today he had reluctantly agreed to help her execute her plan..Something which he would never even have dreamt of doing ever..

Somehow today he could not refuse her..And at that moment he just refused to look into the exact reason for his sudden change of attitude.

Baldev suddenly noticed Gunjan indicating him with her eyes..It was the signal,he realized with a knowing smirk.

So it was finally time..

It was nearly half an hour and Veera continuously chatted on to Gunjan didi..Her eyes covered,she had no idea of where they were travelling to..So to hide her nervousness she prattled on endlessly..Suddenly she realised Gunjan did was not responding at all..

"Gunjan didi..?Are you angry with me..?Veerji..?!What's wrong..?Why aren't you..?"

Now really tense she moved her hand to the side,thinking Gunajn was maybe sitting by her side,when her hand encountered a strange hairy face,and a loud curse followed..

"Ye ki kar raha hai tu?!Accident karwana hai ki tainu..?Haat hata apni!

[What are you do you doing?!Do you want to make me cause an accident..?Move your hand!"A deep familiar voice snapped out,making her shocked still.

Instantly she removed the scarf from her eyes,and realised it was..

"BALDEVA..?!!TU?!!Tu iththe ki kar raha hai..?!"She nearly screech d out in anger..

Baldev turned to pass her a devilish smile,that raised her hackles some more..

"Oye tu sheher main jaake apni dimaag ko ki bhi bech ke ayi hai bazzar wich..?!Tainu ki lagta hai?Tu baithi hai mere gaddi wich,aur mujhi se hi puch rahi hai ki main iththe kaise..?!

[Did you sell your brains in the market too after going to the city..?!What do you think?You are sitting in my car,and also asking me what I am doing here..?!]"He chuckled loudly..

Veera took a moment to realise she was alone in the jeep with Baldev,and they were travelling through a lonely road in between a thick jungle,and not a living soul could be seen around..Slowly she turned to face Baldev,who, she noticed was grinning at her like a Cheshire cat.

"Meri chehre pe road map likhkhi hai ki..?!Tainu gaddi chala na hai to raste wich dekh!Meri chehra kiu dekh raha hai!

[Is a road map drawn on my face..?!If you have to drive then look at the road!Why are you staring at my face!]"She snapped out fuming in anger.

She was now really frustrated and angry that Gunjan didi had tricked her and her Veerji had participated in it too..How could they leave her alone with this..

She did not even want to think what to call this irritating guy!
Angrily she sat quietly for sometime,but her curiosity was killing her..

"Anyways where are we going..?!What is the surprise?"She finally asked..

"We are going to a lonely cottage?And the surprise is that..I have just kidnapped you.."He said softly,his eyes glowing with a strange expression,as he turned to pass her a hot look.A small smile hovering at the corner of his perfect male lips..

His eyes suddenly turned dark,and she watched as they lingered hotly on her lips,and then he winked at her and looked ahead once again.

Veera's heart nearly stopped at his words and expression..She knew she had to do something..!Fast!

"BALDEV!STOP THE CAR!NOW!!!"She screamed out suddenly,startling him as he screeched the car to a halt.

Before Baldev could undersand what she was about,Veera jumped out of the car,and ran into the forest beside the road surprising the life out of him.

"VEERA RUK!!!AREY KITHTHE JAA RAHI HAI..?!!"He shouted and took flight after her,deep into the forest.

He had followed her for about ten minutes,when he finally managed to get hold of her hand,and pulled at it strongly..

They both lost balance at the same time,and together they fell down on the hard forest ground,with Veera above him..

Breathing heavily they stared into each other's eyes,and suddenly Veera tried to squirm free and escape again..

Baldev instantly rolled her over,and trapped her slim body with his strong hard one..His hands pinning hers to both sides of her head,trapping her completely..

"Aab kiththe jayegi mainu chadhdhke tu..?

[Now where will you go leaving me..?]"He asked softly,looking into her eyes with rage burning in his..

His face really close to hers,and his warm breath mingling with hers,as they lay on the hard forest floor..

"Aab kaun bachcayega tainu mujhse..?

[Now who will save you from me..?]"He whispered huskily,as his hard male well-built body pushed closer against her soft one..
