Infact it's more upsetting when your fav actor is reduced to doing something mindless. If it wasn't for gr, maybe kartar Singh wouldn't have bothered us so!

Actually, KS was good in parts, if you forget that it's SC for a moment😆

IMO, an actor must be judged based on his/her acting skills only. The characterization of onscreen avatar is not under their jurisdiction anyway. Thus there's no *need* to factor in the actor when the character assassination happens. I feel sad when one of my favorite characters is written out wayward, but that doesn't take away my love for GR😳

gautam would actually give a block buster performance in an e la andaz apna apna type his comic timing is something else...NB epi with karan ,bharti sunil grover were hilarious... mental image of his pics with lady kiku bring a big smile on my face everytime 😆

I agree so much here. For me the characterization is the key and that's why I thank CVs first for creating this beautiful character. Having watched the movie umpteen times(whwre he comes out as indifferent), I am clearly in awe of this character. And GR did maximum justice and actually lived saras. And the icing on the cake is that it is so different from his real persona.

GR has said in a printed interview that he learnt a lot from saras.

So while the kudos go to CVS so does this criticism too . They could have done this all but with some moderation. Gautamization was not needed like Happy ji said.

Kartar Singh for me is a smaller issue. Saras deliberately did that and ks served the purpose but now he doesn't go away. All this makes it a little too much.

Absolutely Shrija, Gautam in nach baliye has to be different from Gautam as Saras. But my point was different.

When you are not a fan of the actor and the character, the poor script, character deviations, etc etc don't bother much, because you are a "casual" viewer. But when it's Saras and Gautam, both so special, then below par performance of the writers annoys more.

So for ex. When I watch any other show, I just watch whatever , without wanting and expecting the best every time, every day, every episode, but when they mess with Saras,I don't like it!
