I do not know whether a thread of similar nature exists on this forum or not. I tried looking for it but found none so thought of creating one myself.

I am a big fan of Pakistani classics and whenever I get time I dig out for a Pakistani classic drama that I have not watched yet. So I thought of getting some suggestions from you people and share my suggestions with you. I am looking for dramas preferably from 90's and before. Not the dramas that are counted as new age dramas like after 2000.

Here are my suggestions:

Tanhaiyan
Dhoop Kinaray
Unkahi
Aaghosh
Padosi
Dhuwan
Suneheray Din
Alpha Bravo Charlie
Shehzori
Shama
Hawwa ki beti
Teesra Kinara

Please do so and share your views as well. I am sure you will love them all. But if you do decide to watch them then I should warn you that "Sunehray Din" and "Alpha Bravo Charlie" are actually based on Pakistan Army and it has references to Pakistan-India rivalry and wars on siachen from Pakistan's perspective. Otherwise they are highly enjoyable watch if you can overcome those.

Note: I do not exactly remember if sunehray din has got any such reference but alpha bravo charlie definitely has it.

Ohh and I think most of them are available online.

yes I have watched Uroosa. Adnan Siddiqui's and Mishi Khan's debut drama if I am not wrong. Adnan Siddiqui was and still is hot.

I have heard really good things about boota from toba taik singh. People loved boota when it was airing and I guess it is the drama that established FQ as a remarkable actor. Will definitely watch it.

And dhwan is tou ofcourse good. It is the drama, which is famous for introducing out door locations in Pakistani dramas. People were crazy about dhwan especially the youngsters at that time.
Btw I came to know some interesting facts about dhwan...the name dhwan is actually based on the five friends in the drama: Dawood, Hameed, Wajid, Azhar and Naveed (Nido) (they fit best when dhwan is written in urdu ()). Also, when dhwan was airing they asked people to provide their feedback about what they think would be the end. Now I don't know whether they changed the ending according to what people wanted because I don't think people would want the end that was shown.
