it's police work na??

i mean bani is enough to send permeet in jail

first bani should tell the truth to police then it's police work to investigate the truth..

so why they are hiding bani??

I think it is a combination of reasons

First, they don't have any solid proof against Parmeet. Just Bani saying that she saw Parmeet smile will not be taken as evidence against him. That is why they need the guy who was helping Parmeet

And this also leads to why Bani is being kept hidden. Rajji and co think if they expose her, Parmeet will try to kill her again. If they go to the police with her, then the police will not be obliged to play any 'pretend Bani is dead' game. They will go announce it. And forget about getting 24x7 police protection for a normal citizen.
