Ok sigh :) what took me so long to comment? Well considering some other work I've pending comments on, I'm positively early here*ducks from the shoes* .. You know me, I did tell you HOW MUCH I loved this SS so it's not like you don't know 😆
Firstly, I love how different the two parts are. Coming to the first, when I mentioned this situation to you I had a completely different OS in mind but when I read your spin on it, I really loved it. Of course when it's virat and Manvi any unfortunate soul they date would know! Felt sorry for Abhay so well done on that. Then of course virat coming over. I loved the humor in the sequence! Manvi 's faith that even if she did commit murder, it would be him that she would call. Both of them so hopelessly in love yet not saying it. Their mumblings and thoughts made for enjoyable reading.
Now to the second part, the tone of this one is slightly different because obviously it's meant as a culmination of many years of silence. Loved your description of the moment. I recently wrote on something describing a moment not exactly the same but I was reminded of it, just that moment of clarity, it's an interesting moment in life - one we are likely to remember forever. What I enjoyed the most is that virat was actually not nervous instead he was smiling, clearly he knew her reply would be affirmative there being her best friend. Then the inevitable question on why they had wasted eight years .. Of course there is a time and space for everything. Maybe 8 years back they wouldn't have made as great a couple as they did now years later having seen each other go through wrong relationships. I'm not sure why I am answering manvi's questions on behalf of virat 😆

Loved this one. You should write more of these kind of stories. Frothy and light yet brimming with subtext, it suits you well :) keep writing and I love you 🤗
