Yes establish actress would had helped a lot but if we see dabbang and ready those were blockbusters too. Sonakshi was newcomer and Asin wasn't a establish actress. Now what worked for dabbang and ready were their song abd promos which jai ho didn't had.
True plus they didnt sell there other movies at a higher cost and to another and that party eros again re sold..thats the main problem..other things secondary..plus dabangg and ready budget in that time were low too, this too be an easy blockbuster but they sold it ..and those distributors have to make up there cost..but compared to ready this movie way better !! To me since production wise it recover cost it a blockbuster to me!!
